Hello :) Huh, you didn’t really talk about the trailer, but about the game in general, but I don’t mind :D As someone who really liked Double Exposure, I still hope Lost Records will blow it out of the water! The month in between the two tapes will surely lead to a few theories, and I think it’s a reasonable gap in-between Tape 1 and Tape 2; if there were more tapes, I would’ve loved shorter waiting times, but with just two, one month seems justified. Plus, I certainly plan to replay Tape 1 with opposite choices, too! I’m not too worried about screentime, btw; after all, there are other fairly short games that managed to keep me hooked, with House of Ashes and The Casting of Frank Stone being prime examples. I think Bloom & Rage will do just fine in that regard, and manage to give each girl enough screentime :) Btw, when it comes to its length, the director said that one tape will be “much longer” than one episode of Life is Strange, but the two tapes combined will be shorter than Life is Strange as a whole. Considering one single Life is Strange episode is about ~2-3 hours long (depending on how fast you play), I think one Lost Records tape might be about ~4-5 hours long. We obviously don’t know for sure, but I think that would make for a great length :) See you :D
Oooooh intriguing! So imma say this will be a 7-9 hour game then. Which I can live with bc that's pretty standard for DPA really. I do hope that DontNod manage to get the right balance when it comes to timelines. One minor criticism I have of Frank Stone and DE is that the story slightly suffers when there's more than one timeline. Frank stone took a while to get going and DE suffered with trying to do too much. ~ Jack
@ButterflyEffectPodcast If I remember correctly, Don't Nod said that about 75% of the game will be in the past and around 25% in the present? We'll see how it actually turns out, though!
