- ASU freshman David McCurdy is fighting for his life after being hit by a truck. He is in the hospital with severe injuries and is in a medically induced coma.
I hope he makes a full recovery 🤲

So so sad- poor kid, hang in there!!! Sometimes it is a long recovery, I know a boy who went through medically induced coma back in October and he is slowly making remarkable progress, it can happen, keep the faith!!
Yeah, that intersection is super dangerous. I've almost been hit before too on that corner. For a public university, the area is not pedestrian friendly at all.

Idk who there driven by, but I do think many big truck drivers are extremely aggressive drivers and think they own the road too..
@@lexstacks6944 yup my brother had a ride along with a republic services garbage truck driver and he said he drove like a manic because of the quotas he has to keep.
I have a suspicion that this was an illegal who hit this kid because they refuse to tell us their identity!!

Quick to jump to these assumptions, aren't you? Anyone is capable of doing such atrocity, whether they are a citizen or not. Fear and panic kicks in and the suspect flees, it can happen to anyone.
Hey Mr. “I have a suspicion,” his name is Sheldon Whitebird. A simple Google search would have given you that answer. “Illegal” or not, he was arrested the day of for unrelated reasons.
