It is refreshing to see a drummer being a drummer. I like your choices of songs. They are well written pop songs but still offer a challenge to the drummer. I am tired of the drummers with 100 piece sets trying to play the fastest most odd time signatures. It is always about the groove.

Great sound. Love that snare. Probably one of the better tunings I've heard in a while. And to be honest, it sounds like the original 1980 recording. Flawless and smooth performance. I love when a drummer has that control and knows when to stick to the original and not do stupid fills that throw the flow off. Excellent performance. Mr. Gennaro and Mr. Mardones would be proud. This is so perfect that...were it not for the fact that the drums are just a little louder than the rest of the mix...I'd think it was the record. Playing, tuning, timbre are all spot-on! One of the best pop/rock songs ever recorded...by one of the greatest voices. Chills...
