Characters can make and/or break a reading experience of a book. Glad that your second experience with a Lucy Score book is a better one. Now that you have a baseline for the author (long book, for instance) it can help you decide if you want to read more of the author's works in the future. At least you're ahead of me in reading the series. I had read a LS book before and got this series in my pile, but my next Lucy Score read is probably another book that I just bought. I loved book 3. I think w Sara and Destiny, they were highly anticipating Lucien’s book and therefore the story didn’t meet expectations but I wasn’t super invested in Lucien tbh in the previous books so I really grew to appreciate the character and his and sloans story/history in book 3!
omg yes he’s awful!!! that’s what doesn’t give me much hope for the third book, because lucien already irked me just from being a background character lmao
