The fact that the Moose is not on this list invalidates it. They are considered the deadliest animal in North America. My friend who grew up in Alaska said he would rather run into a bear than a moose out in the wild.
Yeah. Sometimes on the east coast, too. Fuzznuts naps on my deck about every 2 weeks. I can give him chin scritchies from the barely opened sliding door. He puckers up, and it's adorable. But I'll never risk more than 2 fingers. Because I only ever get back 1.9. That kitbull tongue does damage.
Floridian here, the guy holding up the alligator is a specialist. If you have an alligator in your pool or on your property you call someone like him to remove and relocate it. The middle school I went to had to call people like the guy in the picture a few times to have an alligator removed from school property.
A friend and I came across a mountain lion drinking from a creek once. It was about 40 yards downstream. We all watched each other until it finished and walked into the woods.
I've always been told that Angus beef cattle are more dangerous than other common breeds in North America. They are raised because they are tough and will defend themselves against predators. Some other people I know had Hereford beefs and needed donkeys to protect them from coyotes.
I live in Oklahoma, and we have several Rattlesnake Roundups each year. The primary purpose is to milk as many snakes for their venom as possible. The venom is sent to labs that make the anti-venin described here; the drug is very expensive and has a short shelf life, so most hospitals don't carry it. Some of the snakes at the Roundup are killed and skinned, then eaten, but most are taken back to the hills and released. The Roundups are like a tailgate party.
Several years ago in Northern Wisconsin in the town of Hayward during the summertime a black bear walked into a grocery store using the automatic door and went and sat in the beer cooler
7:15, No, they do mean the back garden. 'Backyard' is just the American way of saying 'back garden'. In the US, "garden" is usually used to refer to an area of your backyard that is used to grow fruits and vegetables etc.
I live in Minneapolis. I saw a big coyote trotting on the ice covered Lake Harriet here last week. There are also black bears and cougars that come into the city limits and out in the suburbs. There are lots of deer that live in the park down the street from me here. Rattlesnakes have bitten and killed people not too far from here. I have seen wolves not too far north of Mpls/St.Paul. And bunnies beware!: there are lots of various hawks and owls and also bald eagles right in the city. Good bird watching.
California here. No. Mountain Lions definitely show up on your back porch. Specifically if you live near the mountains. Even here in SoCal, they show up. Also, the "Who's doing that?!" The alligator 😄
5:07 Disneyland is the "happiest place on earth" and California doesn't have allegators. This happened at a Disney resort and NOT at Disneyworld. Not only is it dangerous to leave a toddler unsupervised near ANY pond but there were also allegator warning signs.
Back in high school, I was picking mushrooms with a couple friends and the few cows present all had quite sharp horns. One of my buddies didn't realize how close he'd gotten to a newborn calf sleeping in some tall grass and mom was pissed. I hear yelling and look up to see my friend booking it across the field with the cow close behind. He barely managed to hurdle the barbed wire fence and escape, splitting his pants (and nearly his bean bag) in the process.
I also did the barb wire hurdle once when the bull that was with the cows I was herding home took after me. That same bull knocked down my dad a couple of years later. Luckily he survived with only a dislocated shoulder and nine broken ribs for injuries. The bull didn’t. He went to market soon after.
Here in NC , I have personally had on my property: bobcats, coyotes, black widow spiders, cottonmouth snakes. In the SE part of the state we get alligators and in the western part of the state we get wolves and bears. Deer are bigger killers of people's cars than people.
I live in Southeast Texas, I have been stung twice by scorpions when I was younger. Once on my foot, then one night while I was sleeping, I woke up with a pain in my arm, I turned over on my back, and felt something Crawl on my face, basically right between my eyes, somehow another I was able to quickly swap across my face without slapping myself or getting stone and swapped it off my face, seen it on the floor and killed it. scorpion stains hurt bad
Just the other day, a coyote somehow got into a grocery store in the city of Chicago. I live in the suburbs and it was all over the news. As I say, I live in one of the suburbs in town and a condo complex and we have coyotes around all the time.
Look up Derek Wolfe (former Denver Bronco Defensive Lineman 6'5"/1.96m, 284 lbs/20.287 stone) and the Mountain Lion he shot after it attacked his neighbor's livestock and took up residence under their house. It will show you how big they can get.
Alligators range from TX to NC, but FL had crocs alongside alligators. Black bears are in almost every state. Cougars are usually in mountain areas, but there are also some of those in FL too I believe.
Coyotes are common where I live - I saw one just strolling up the middle of the street last week. At first I thought it was a skinny German Shepard. 😮I live in a dense 120 year-old neighborhood 24 blocks from downtown. There was a news story (with live cam) of a little girl running into the family’s backyard being chased by a coyote last summer. The dad chased it off. This occurred, again, in a close-in city neighborhood. Coyotes are fairly common urban hunters, generally targeting outdoor cats.
If I recall the actual top 3 aren't on this list. The most deadly animals in North America are the Bison, Elk, and Moose. They are so big and powerful that when they actually do decide to attack, its almost always deadly.
From New Jersey and we had wild cats, bobcats and a sneaky cougar or more, many many black bears, coyotes, tons of deer, fox, and more I will recall at bedtime. Oh and evil brown recluse which eats your flesh slowly. My husband was bit at the same time as a little girl and she died. Hubby recovered and still has scars on his arms mostly. I wound up in hospital at another time. Hurts like hell too
I had a coworker who had a German Shepherd in a fencing yard with a 6 foot high solid fence. She heard a yelp one day and saw a mountain lion dragging her German Shepherd over the fence. She never found out where it went.
Yes, we used to go cow tipping when we were teenagers which is basically sneak out in the field when they’re standing sleeping and push them over and you better run like well you better run saying nicely that got back up or nearby they’re coming after you but we thought that was fun
@sherryjoiner396 On my grandparents farm we had to deal with more wild boar than anything else. Bear and coyotes tended to stay away from the livestock, but wild boar invaded like they owned the place.
I live in upstate NY, and wolves and bears are common in my backyard. So are deer. They're so bold they come right up to the door! Our bears are pretty bold too. They'll wander around down window shopping, and will sometimes try to barge into the stores. Can you imagine?
I visited my niece in Florida. We had to make sure the gate was closed so an alligator couldn't get in the pea. Here in southeast Kentucky we have more copperheads than rattlesnakes. Our black bears don't go into full hibernation because our winters aren't clold enough. Coyotes will come out of the woods to get pets.
I used to live in northern NH, where they have year-round open season on Coydogs, Coydogs are a mix breed of Coyote and domestic dogs they have no fear of humans.
UK statistic “The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) reports deaths, not attacks. They say that on average four to five people are killed in accidents involving cattle each year, with 74 fatal attacks since 2000”
We have a Pack of Coyotes near us in the Georgia Mountains and you can hear them for miles that’s why we have to keep all our farm animals locked away and make sure all inside animals are inside at night especially our dogs because the pack will send one coyote out to lead your dog back to the pack to get mauled. They are smart sneaky buggers too
So it's true that a few people have died in bear attacks... maybe the worst Timothy Treadwell, or even worse, that girl who had her phone on to her mom while being eaten, as these victims were. Very rare is the key. This is far more unlikely than lightning or leprosy.
I actually saw a mountain lion in my back yard about a decade ago in rural Northern California. They haven’t been around as much recently but there was a fatal attack nearby about a year ago
Their is a highway in southern Florida going through the swamps to Miami called Alligator Alley you will just be driving and a 6-12ft alligator is just chilling next to the highway there is also a part of the same highway where you have to watch out for bobcats crossing the highway
Well the only one on this list that I encounter on a regular basis particularity in the Summer is the scorpion. So that's the one I'm afraid of most since they come into your home. Living in Texas we see them every Summer.
I ve see. Several deadly snakes in Florida n alligator in yard and bob cat and coyotes lots times coyotes are afraid of peeps but it’s better to keep your distance they r around d the house every nite
A mountain lion in California stalked a guy on a motorbike and knocked him off the machine with perfect timing even though he was going about 50 miles an hour. It just leaped, calculated the physics as cats do very well, and knocked him off the bike in one move. He survived but was scared to freakin' death. There is a new type of bear now. It is far more dangerous than any other. It is the cross breed of polar bears and grizzly bears. This new bears have the dangerous traits of both bears.
😂I live in Utah. We've been warned to keep an eye on our kids in our own backyard. Cougars have been suspected of taking neighbors' sheep.🤷♂️ They missed the Moose! We're told that Moose are more deadly than bears around here.
The coyote is really the only one of these animals I see and I may see one every 10 days or so. There are I'd say 5 living in the area but I have never heard of anyone having a problem from them. They keep a distance from people. I usually see them sunning out in a field across the street from me. I love seeing them!
Cougars and Wolves are repopulating Michigan. Black bears are common in the northern parts. Coyotes have invaded Michigan. We also have Missasauga rattle snakes, however they are rare and mostly just get you sick
Here in Alabama a lady was killed by a flying pig about 30 years ago. The pig was in the road and hit by a truck, it went airborne and through a ladies windshield killing her. Crazy huh?
Wait, wait, wait. As far as I know, the coyote is truly misaligned. I grew up with them. As far as I know, they haven't even stolen a "baby." They understand that humans are off limits. Probably because of coexisting for hundreds of years alongside them. They're super intelligent medium to small doggies who love us but absolutely do not want to be dressed up in a "cute suit"
We have coyotes walking down our neighborhood streets this year in metropolitan southeastern virginia. They've been in the area for many years but seem to be expanding in numbers and/or territory.
Google AI just claimed that 0.05% of American deaths each year are caused by these types of bites and other attacks. The overwhelming majority of animal deaths each year are caused by pets. Dogs. I've lived in South Carolina, California and now Florida. I've never known anyone who is affected by any of this with the exception of driving into deer, Lyme disease and spider bites. Still all rare. Even in Florida, alligators attacks are a freak occurrence. 🐊 Please don't worry. No one else does.
9:18 First of all, that dog would kick the shit out of that coyote, secondly, they appear to be playing. But yeah, we had a pack of coyotes near my house, and we'd sometimes hear them in the middle of the night getting their heads kicked in by our yard dogs when they came too close.
When I was climbing down Angel's landing in Zion National Park, I came face-to-face with a mountain lion and I just stared at it and waited to see what it would do next and whether or not I have to fight for my life _ first time, I really got scared because I thought I would grab the mountain lion and jump off the mountain.
I live in Alaska n see many bears. Grizzly Bears can stand around 17 feet. They need to add Moose to the list. They both become aggressive if with their young. I have lived with wildlife for years n have learned how to stay safe. ❤
Deer 1/old hunter 0 - seems fair. Where I live (Southern Arizona), people occasionally have mountain lions on their roofs. And we also have the rare, solitary jaguar.
I live in Maine and our rural area has coyotes even in town. It's actually their season right now And you cannot let your pets out at night by themselves or they are going to get eaten.
Lol bro in Washington State we get bears in downtown Seattle. That's 50 miles away from nature. We also got 2 mountain bikers dead from a cougar attack.
And now we have the "Grolar bear", a cross between a grizzly bear and a polar bear. The reason for this new super predator , is there environments are starting to over lapping, and there's been natural cross breeding of the two species where in the past it didn't. I can't tell you what to do if you find your self face to face with is monster, playing dead may work with a grizzly, but to my understanding, there are no tricks for the polar bear, your just food too them, if or in east and NE Alaska, or Northern Canada, have a big bore boom stick with you.
The most terrifying is a Grizlie Bear. Because of their size. I was fishing in alaska and a griz ambled up and sat down beside me. Now I should explain that on all fours it's shoulder was 9 foot off the ground. In fact I was only startled when the Game warden yelled for me to stop feeding the Bear. Apparently it is illegal to feed the Bears. However I figured it was me or the salmon i had caught. The bear upon seeing all the fish were in his belly, simply got up and went up river a short distance and crawled into the Falls to await more salmon. I promptly opened my thermos and poured a hot cup of coffee, added some cream and after the hand shaking ended drank my coffee. Oh and for some reason the Game wardens across the river sent two women game wardens to give me my fine. Me scared, no just terrified as the fish started to run out. You are in extreme danger when they are close. A week after that I saw a man curl up into a ball, protecting his head and neck. The bear in question seemed to lift itself off of it's front paws and then came down with it's full weight. Crushed the man. Such was chance in the wilderness. You would be amazed at what is just on the other side of the wall, when your sleeping in your nice cozy bed.
I was attacked by a deer as a teenager. I was riding my bike and the darn thing tried to ram me from the side. Thankfully I managed to dodge and just crashed my bike barely avoiding falling into a pond .
Oh and rarely rarely rarely do wolves attack and the closer to their former territory thst they lose as people spread out but they are actually very shy. They don't want to be around you. They aren't dogs.
Don’t really know what Daz is referring to when holding his hands out the size of a dinner plate and describing a Black Widow outbreak in his garden. They are rather small web weavers actually.
The spider he was describing wasn't a black widow. Pest control guy told him what is real problem was the Black widows in his garden. Not the big spider he called the pest control guy to take care of.
Wa state here. I live in cougar bear and rattlesnake country snd who knows? Maybe Bigfoot. Lol also neighbors are bsld eagles. I have a 500 lbs bear that cruises through every so often. Black bear that is. If you're gonna run into a bear u want it to be black bear. Oh they can kill you easy but they're not too aggressive either unless it's a mama or big male. Grizzly now, they are always ready to fight and good luck to you. Theres a few grizzly sightings but mostly it's black bear territory here.
Washington State had a cougar attack in 2018 in North Bend killing 1 bicyclist and injurying the other . Yes they tracked and killed the cougar by Wildlife Officials.
The fact that the Moose is not on this list invalidates it. They are considered the deadliest animal in North America. My friend who grew up in Alaska said he would rather run into a bear than a moose out in the wild.
It's on a different video
moose account for more deaths than deer?
Don't forget buffalo! Buffalo will charge at cars & trucks!
@@jamesneutron8580 Moose are deer. Just the largest variant.
What tim said😂, they are covered in another video so you and everyone who liked your comment arent watching either of these channels
Mountain lions show up in people's back yards quite often here in Northern California. At their doors, windows, decks, etc. In their trees.
Yeah. Sometimes on the east coast, too. Fuzznuts naps on my deck about every 2 weeks. I can give him chin scritchies from the barely opened sliding door. He puckers up, and it's adorable. But I'll never risk more than 2 fingers. Because I only ever get back 1.9.

And that’s why they always recommend you enclosed your pool because before you know it an alligator is chilling in your pool
The sheer size and mass of an adult male bear is shocking. First time for me seeing one, I legit almost had an anxiety attack and fainted!!!!
A friend and I came across a mountain lion drinking from a creek once. It was about 40 yards downstream. We all watched each other until it finished and walked into the woods.
Beef cows are especially dangerous. They don’t get handled at all. They are pretty wild.. vs dairy cows which are milked and touched all the time
I've always been told that Angus beef cattle are more dangerous than other common breeds in North America. They are raised because they are tough and will defend themselves against predators. Some other people I know had Hereford beefs and needed donkeys to protect them from coyotes.

Hello from Oregon! We have black bears and cougars right at the edge of town.
A rattlesnake will thrive in temperatures WAY higher than 90f. They are happy as a pig in mud here in the summer where it gets up to 115.
They love Florida as well. Summer 90+f, no problem.
The problem with scorpions is you don't see them. They get into your shoes and bedsheets, then you get stung.
Back in high school, I was picking mushrooms with a couple friends and the few cows present all had quite sharp horns. One of my buddies didn't realize how close he'd gotten to a newborn calf sleeping in some tall grass and mom was pissed.

#1 is actually Deer, but those are from car crashes.
Here in NC , I have personally had on my property: bobcats, coyotes, black widow spiders, cottonmouth snakes. In the SE part of the state we get alligators and in the western part of the state we get wolves and bears. Deer are bigger killers of people's cars than people.

Rattlesnakes don't attack people. They strike defensively if you get too close to them.
Just the other day, a coyote somehow got into a grocery store in the city of Chicago. I live in the suburbs and it was all over the news. As I say, I live in one of the suburbs in town and a condo complex and we have coyotes around all the time.
I've lived all my life in a rural mountain area. I'm scared of cattle.

Alligators range from TX to NC, but FL had crocs alongside alligators.
Black bears are in almost every state. Cougars are usually in mountain areas, but there are also some of those in FL too I believe.
Yes, ex-FL resident here. We have cougars. We call them Florida Panthers. There are not many of them left in the wild in Florida.
Fl has both a small but stable-ish black bear and cougar population
Coyotes are common where I live - I saw one just strolling up the middle of the street last week. Yeah, Coyotes have only killed like 2 or 3 humans in America/Canada as far as I know. They're way more dangerous towards pets.
I just watched the local news this morning, Vegas here, COYOTES AND BOBCATS on people’s yards.
They are not dangerous. Well, not usually. They'll more than likely run and hide.
Watching this with my Great Pyr. He lost his mind when the coyotes came on screen. They're his favorite snack. 😂
At night , you can hear a ton of coyotes howling. It’s actually a neat sound….as long as it’s from far away.
If I recall the actual top 3 aren't on this list. The most deadly animals in North America are the Bison, Elk, and Moose. They are so big and powerful that when they actually do decide to attack, its almost always deadly.

We shake out our shoes in AZ. I dumped a bark scorpion out of my shoe just after moving here.
I had a coworker who had a German Shepherd in a fencing yard with a 6 foot high solid fence. She heard a yelp one day and saw a mountain lion dragging her German Shepherd over the fence. She never found out where it went.
I believe in Africa, Hippos are one of the most dangerous animals.
The smaller the scorpion species the more venomous they are 😮
Yes, we used to go cow tipping when we were teenagers which is basically sneak out in the field when they’re standing sleeping and push them over and you better run like well you better run saying nicely that got back up or nearby they’re coming after you but we thought that was fun
They didn't mention wild boar or Moose. We have a massive wild boar problem in the United States. The largest ever hunted was about 800 lbs.
I don't have moose where I live but wild boars are terrible. They can have 3 huge litters a year, so the population is exploding.
@sherryjoiner396 On my grandparents farm we had to deal with more wild boar than anything else. Bear and coyotes tended to stay away from the livestock, but wild boar invaded like they owned the place.
Mountain Lions are more common in backyards than you think
Just remember ladies you voted to be alone with a bear in the woods
Never trust jews
I live in upstate NY, and wolves and bears are common in my backyard. So are deer. They're so bold they come right up to the door! Our bears are pretty bold too. They'll wander around down window shopping, and will sometimes try to barge into the stores. Can you imagine?
A couple of days ago a jet hit a coyote during take off at Chicago O’Hare. They’re everywhere.
Don’t think a fence is gonna keep you safe from a bear. they can climb fences and it’s incredible how fast they can climb a tree.❤️✌️🌼
Yea bears run up trees lol, even alligators can climb fences go youtube it
Panda Bear's are called red because when they are born they are really red in fur color ❤

Two years ago, there was a puma in someone's back yard, in my city, not in the woods. Animal control was able to safely remove it ;-)
It's funny because wolves are very afraid of people lol. They run at the mere sight of a human.

The largest Grizzly recorded stood 11 feet.
Sidewinder are more aggressive than timber rattlers. The most deadly snake in the US is the Mojave Viper, followed closely by the coral snake.
Honey badgers love when you pet them
No Moose, Elk or Bison?
Copperheads and water moccasins scare me more than rattlesnakes
There's 9 Jaguars living in Arizona. They are introducing new ones from Brasil to repopulate!
You guys mentioned the red panda. I suggest looking up an American writer, Tom Robbins.
I like beers too, Cheers!!!
Aid Ian doesn’t live with his parent that’s new to me. I thought he didn😅😅
Washington State had a cougar attack in 2018 in North Bend killing 1 bicyclist and injurying the other . Yes they tracked and killed the cougar by Wildlife Officials.
Bull shark and moose r top 5
Your dog loves you so much it will attack any animal to defend you
