if thats what they have to improve their e onomy and be independent of western aid then yes
Western countries climb the ladder and then kick the ladder away from others behind them.
Look at temperatures worldwide. They should go for Renewables.

Look at poverty worldwide and specifically Africa at night
They should do, what every other country did before them.

@@jonjosenna5581western countries also made their own ladders! Why should everyone now get a handout?
I support renewables. B O T above me likes oil.
There is not one country in the world that does not depend on burning fossil fuels. We do it proudly.
Yeah, go for it
Most of the countries transitioning to clean energy had more than their own share exploiting Fossil fuel so why is it a problem for South Sudan to be able to use the same resources to get to the level where they can be able to transition to a clean energy
That simply means if the world insists on transitioning then it is fare to Compensate the south sudanese for not exploding their national resources
Should it be allowed? By who? This is there decision to make.
The Petroleum Minister said that for the South Sudanese, the exploration of oil must be "Just, Equitable and Inclusive" - that's a fantastic line to end the interview.
'their' - Let them be.
Yes, Sudan should put Sudan first. Go for it
Before seeing the video title i thought the person in the thumbnail was a puppet from the Thunderbirds 😂
What as apposed to another country exploiting it?
Love this minister!
Great guy. He is definitely the future.
*We exploit and destabilise nations, then we lecture those same nations about the condition of their nation, we then offer “help” to those nations while continuing to exploit them and further enrich ourselves, it's a great businesses model and great global control mechanism. Long live the monarchy 😉🇪🇺🇬🇧👑💪*

So Russia and China are now exploiting Africa, more than developed Western nations. But they don't preach, so African leaders are better with Russia and China.
Very true
Yes, together with foreign renewable investment as well
This minister should be Ministry of Gold Fashion
This are Nation robbers
YES and they should blame it on JUST LOL OIL TARDS because of the spike in fuel demand waiting in protest traffic lol
Africa development Bank is the solution since North Sudan 🇸🇩 has the infrastructure for Oil 🛢.
Great man ever
is very important that new young generation are emergence in south sudan politic
Look at the temperatures worldwide.
They should go for renewables.
He wisely proposes drilling for oil & using the profits to develop renewable technology in South Sudan. Great plan.
I don't mind them being used, so long as it isn't being just wasted on things like heating or fuel.
If it was being used, for permanent things. Long-lasting things, like solid plastics which are essential in things like medical devices etc, that makes sense as there is no alternative and it isn't dumping fumes into the atmosphere.
Why the hell not?
Did someone say......oil?
JUST. STOP. OIL.
Without oil we were alive
No. Britain should.
Wonder if Just stop oil will appear in the South of Sudan 🤔. Do it for white middle class English people !
They are coming.
Yes if it has some. Start drilling boys. 👍
Yes of course they should.
It's better than famine & it's none of our business.
Let them drill for oil and ensure the locals get the benefits.
Wish them all the best! Go for it and godspeed.
Save yourself first then try save the world. The developing world cannot be expected to take first world energy strategies.
No one can do anything about climate changing as we continue to live and pump fuel into the environment,, even expensive projects await approval in Europe. But is now in the hands of the member states to adopt, as soon as possible,. Now China is far away, but is this also going to be in the Northern Hemisphere as well. I believe Sudan 🇸🇩 should get the training just for now how to sell their oil and all the equipment to do it themselves.😊
South Sudan is not the poorest country in the world, South Sudan will be richer than your country 😢
Answer is No
They should 100% “exploit” THEIR oil! Then stop asking the world for handouts, maybe even share their wealth with their African brothers!? 🤣🤣 yeah right…
@user-lu4kq7nu4xand then they return them?
i advice them to work with china
Sudan will do as it's told unless it want to face the full, unforgiving force and might of western democracy and freedom.😉
Look at temperatures worldwide. They should go for renewables.
@@babblo1389 What's going on with temperatures?
New records worldwide. Everyone knows that.
Read news about Italy, Spain, Turkey, China..
@@babblo1389 Why are your replies liked instantly?🤔
Yes. Sod the false net zero nonsense.
The interviewer is irrational
It shouldn't, as a matter of urgency! The climate affects us all. Judging by the arbitrage of other African [resource rich] countries,
it's only meager sliver of political elites & cronies that 'll benefit the lot. Apart from entrenching poverty i.e Nigeria, Angola, S &P etc. How re the S'Sudaniese less petty & tribal? Till selfish African gov't place premiums on the talents of their ppl, I'm sorry, Africa remains @ the doldrums of any economic/human dev't....
Suoth sudan
Ideally, no, but they probably should themselves before the Americans decide they need to bring them some "democracy" and do it for them.
