For anyone planning to get it, yes it is really good and very portable. As a warning try not to put too much dirt in it or else it'll shut and you'll need to open it up and clean it.

Had one of these for a while now, it's a great shredder as long as the blade is literally razor sharp sharp. This is the problem with these machines, the blade soon loses it's initial edge and then it really struggles to cut anything other than twigs and soft material and just makes lots of noise. You can of course reverse the blade for a second life but bear in mind you'll be getting through a fair number of these blades with protracted use.
Only the Bosch blades will work for any length of time, but they're not cheap. Sharpening the blade doesn't seem to work either as it's difficult to get the razor edge that this shredder needs - believe me, I've tried. So like I say it's a good machine but factor in the cost of a few new blades if you're going to work it hard.

As a product designer I have to say this looks one of the better non self feed ones but I always loved the old screw feed ones they used to produce and am annoyed that the only one they make anything like that old model is the TC turbine cutter model for a heavy £450ish in 2020. Far too much money for something to occasionally chop up some light garden branches. Avoid any cheap versions of this design shown here that do not have a large full width blade as a lot of the Chinese ones have an internal metal plate with a tiny little blade attatched to it. Guess how long that lasts!

Thank you for the helpful video. Only, I've bought an adapter plug and a lead and I still can't plug it in - the adapter plug doesn`t stay in and the lead 'head' is too big? I´m in Spain.

Also, can you not get the blade sharpened rather than chucking it out?

What way do I turn the Allen key to take the blade off, it's really stiff either way and don't want to make it worse

I would not buy this machine. It is expensive rubbish. It certainly does not perform as in the video. Used twice. Each time the chute clogged up 4 times for instances yesterday requiring dismantling and unclogging. Basically the output chute is too narrow. It clogged with kitchen waste and small branches. Cutting back roses, all it did was strip off the bark leaving 8 inch lengths not chopped. Badly designed and not as described.

This is exactly my experience. Watching the video I thought "that's what I expected, must be a setting to change or something", but feedback here suggests this machine does not do what it says on the packet. 40mm? Mine struggles with half that!
