I bought one of these new in February 2004. Apart from taking it apart (as described in Tef's video) to unblock it just twice, (the second time being this morning), it has been a marvellous machine for the past 19 years. A small chip out of the edge of the cutter near the motor end, but I suspect it will see me out!
Have spent most of today sorting mine out following this video and it now works! I would just add if you take the top of the metal part apart, make sure you know how to line it back up, and put the leg back on the right way around otherwise the machine is horizontal! Arrggghhh!
I've inherited one of these exact same models and seeing the breakdown would be extremely beneficial. It gets jammed at the slightest thing and doesn't seem to shred branches properly as it seems to leave the thin bark to bind it up. Oh, SL100 is Silvasta - erectile dysfunction medication.
Thanks so much for posting this. I have both this and the 1600 version. I'm really careful about what goes in there but am finding that they get to a point where the least little thing now clogs them. Would be interested to know how you got on with it after making this video :D
Great video, have the same problem i think. But mine is a standard eu plug, they do not have that fuse right? I switched out the capacitor to no avail, but going to pick up the multimeter tomorrow 👍
Hi, I´m trying to find a suppression filter (the white big round capacitor) for the same machine and do not have the old one for any details. Are there any details on the white one you have. I have some big capacitors and wondering what the microfarad is on that paticular model. Thanks.
LookUp 400 volt 20 or 30 microfarad capacitors. They are about £9 each with post. It is not for radio noise suppression but used to kick the windings the correct way to start the motor. Washing machines use the similar ones.
Blown fuse? Or the capacitor is no good , it is a 400volt 20 mictrofarad £8.50 on internet. The motor is geared at about 20 to 1 with a large take up to allow reverse / forwards without stalling the motor. It will hum if just jammed so the fuse has blown . It is designed for wet wood chipping .

I didn't realise this Bosch AXT 2000 could be that old! Almost a vintage machinery show!

Glad you found it helpful, thanks for your comment!

Thanks for the comment. It has been fine since unblocking it to be honest. I am careful what I out into the Bosch shredder though now!

I have the same one. Great little machine. I also got it for free
That's a price I can just about afford!
The on off switch doesn’t work, any ideas how to replace/fix it?

If I find time Peter, I will try and have a look. Can't make any promises though I'll try.

It was definitely just the fuze because I replaced that and did nothing to the capacitor and it ran immediately.
plug top fuse first...
Yep, always the simplest things get overlooked!
