Imagine playing chess your whole life, becoming a GM, and getting beat by an 8 year old in a serious game. Ouch. Grats to the kid, astonishing performance.
Holy cow its Shogdhiev! I used to watch him all the time on CFN Channel chess fight night club in Moscow. You could tell then a year or two ago that kid was moving up fast man. I remember he always looked up to Fatality lol. I can't wait to see this kid in the Blitz.
I thought he looked familiar! That is him. I also liked watching him play on the CFN. He’s going to upset many in blitz! It’s funny how he asked the GM if he was resigning so that he didn’t get swindled in to a false draw. I feel like most of the young kids on the CFN channel do the same thing. It’s funny. But better to be safe than sorry.
@@ospninja Ya he learned from the best. lol I noticed that too. I also notice those kids rarely ever resign. I bet he was coached to do that cause I know from watching the last two world rapid and blitz that the young kids get taken advantage of. Christiansen even came back to shake his hand after storming off. I thought that was very gentlemanly and honorable of him.
Never play with kids, they always do stupid moves with there face and are underrated, thats why I never play with them lol and they get frustrated. Karma hits back
@@Narrowcros Yasser Seirwan tells a story about Gary Kasparov one time hitting the clock so hard, harder and harder playing against him that eventually he knocked all the pieces over on the chessboard, knocked the clock over, and its the only time Yasser got visibly angry with another player lmao.

I think he should play a match against Bodhana Sivanandan. This girl is also 8 years old and at her last tournament she won against FM and IM, and then drew with GM. It's kind of crazy how good eight-year-olds can be at chess.
@@samuelwilson5465 I remember last world rapid and blitz. Older GM avoided a timeout loss to a young Russian kid i believe, by accusing the kids friend of distracting him from the sidelines after he already timed out and lost lmao. arbiter favored it to my shock. and then the arbiter added time on the guys clock. and then the kid flustered started making moves but it was he who then lost on time. ANd the arbiter and older player started laughing at the kid when he knocked pieces over. I was pretty apalled.
That endgame was easy to win, but difficult part was how to get passers so far and protected ? Black pawns were not so far and they would become easy victims if GM would push them
I don't even think this kid plays much online for kramnik to care what are you talking about? lol. OTB is where its at man. Kramnik is embarrassed about how immature and unsporting online chess is and is having a culture shock playing on that site. grow up man.
