I love you in front of the camera, but this style of having other women really makes your content feel more global and reaching out to others who are not quite your style! Love love loved this! (And I just graduated college, so super relevant)
I really love that too because I think trends can be fun to play with and experiment with, but they can also put pressure on us to present in a way that maybe we don't actually want to present ourselves. I like to pick the trends that work for my personal style and leave the rest, and I think that's something we learn over time!
Definitely get Erica’s style the most. I work in a corporate office, so we have to be in a fairly traditional corporate dress code, but...we always try to add in our own unexpected take on it.
I love how different everyone’s jobs, styles, personalities, and body types were! These ladies are all gorgeous and interesting. Thanks for representing ladies as individuals and not “types”. 👍😍
This video makes me so happy and inspired to really focus on what makes me feel good rather than constantly trying to fit in with my outfits in order to please others or avoid weird/rude comments because I’m just being me. Thanks Ingrid and all the other ladies! 😊
Erica is so carefree, confident, and hilarious. Please teach us how to stop being anxious and be ourselves! I love seeing Ingrid being so happy around her :)
I wish there was a love button! I work in an office and I find I get stuck in a rut or sometimes lack inspiration to find the balance between style and professionalism. Seeing real women from different work backgrounds and body types is so refreshing! The blogger videos for office outfits are nice but I love hearing from women who actually work in an office! Looking forward to the rest of this series!!
This is AWESOME! I love being able to dress up or down at work depending how I feel! Side note : Ericas bar collar is AMAZING. Whoever discouraged her from wearing that is crazy!
Loved it. Relatable style which is not about replacing your wardrobe every season. Also loved the people in it. It was so fresh and nothing like what anyone else is doing.
Love this. I'm a teacher in a school for kids with educational needs and we definitely have dress code. Something that covers you but also comfy. My first job was teaching kids before they go to school, and wearing skirts was just inconvenient. Now, i work with teenagers and can allow myself dresses. Tbh, I'm only comfortable in dresses atm, idk why
Omg, how did you know? This is what I have been looking for. I am having such a hard time on what I should wear to work as everything is smart casual. Thank you so much for this video. Love you. 😘😘😘😘
Ingrid, I loved this so much!! I am a professional doula, and I struggle to know what to wear. My days look so vastly different-- meeting with potential clients, meeting with medical providers, attending births, and serving new parents in their homes. This was helpful!
One of the things I found hardest about becoming a nurse was having to totally give up my day to day stylistic choices 😔 I’m in a uniform that is unflattering and only semi comfortable, and I can’t wear most of my jewellery (bare below the elbows rule, and no dangly earrings or necklace that a confused or violent patient might be able to grab). That really stung, as my favourite part of getting ready for the day was deciding what rings and watch/bracelet I felt like wearing that day. Now I’m building up a scrunchie collection, but because it’s behind me all day I never get to see it! 😂😩
Fellow nurse here! I understand this struggle. You might consider looking into headbands/hair wraps. I see a lot of coworkers wearing them--super cute but also protective! You might also consider putting some time into hair styles (braids, etc) and makeup application, in an effort to have the "getting glam" experience:)
Ahhh I loved this video!! I like that folks were in different industries, had different styles, and different body types! :D It felt more reflective of the variety of careers and people that are out there.
Love this! Erica’s style is definitely quite similar to mine at work - very relatable. Great content Ingrid! Loving the direction of your channel the past year or so =)
I feel like I don’t have a sense of style now that I work full time in a traditional office. I find tight fitted clothes like suits and smart trousers uncomfortable and unflattering on my body so I’m kind of stuck with modest floaty dresses. Then at the weekend I just wear boring jeans 😩
I think of personal style as a process, and I try to remember that when I see people who have incredible personal style they’ve often spent their entire lives getting to that place. It can be really easy to see people with amazing personal style who seem so comfortable in their clothes, and to put pressure on ourselves to figure that out right away. I try to remind myself of that whenever I’m thinking “why did you put together such a boring outfit today?” I also try to remind myself that people with amazing personal style probably have days where they wear boring outfits too! And instead of judging myself or my outfits harshly, I try to look at people whose style admire and find just one element that I can play with, like experimenting with more color! 💙💛💜
I'm 15yrs into my job and still working on this. The dress is often a really good fix for that comfort/professionalism compromise but don't always represent you as an individual which is frustrating. Women's professional wear needs a serious upgrade. It's very hard to find comfortable workwear, literally everything I buy now I'm like, does it have some stretch to it? is the fabric going to crease easy? is it loose enough to move in? is it breathable material? can I layer this because it's freezing and always raining in my city but everyone has extreme heating on 24/7? can I wear it with boots or loafers so my feet won't hurt? and lastly why do tailored women pants never have real pockets?
Hi Ingrid, loved this video and the series. Great job! I would love a video like this for formal occasions when you're in the spotlight! I'm in my late twenties and still feel like I'm getting ready for prom (in a bad way) prepping for my friend's wedding as a bridesmaid ❤️
I needed a video like this and it’s amazing that you’re the one that came out with it!! I’m starting a new job on Monday so this will definitely come in handy!! Thank you and been a fan since 2012!
Im an Electrician at a Power Plant...so i dont really get to dress all nice and fancy. 😞I just wear whatever comfy and clean clothes i have to work, then have to change into coverall type things at work. I guess the positive to that is less laundry. 😂
You might be able to wear more relaxed outfits while working in a start-up, but it is definitely not relaxing. I have found that working in a startup is the most stressful place to work.

Loved this, and I love how everyone in the video doesn’t necessarily go with trends. They embrace what makes them feel amazing instead. ❤️
I really love that too because I think trends can be fun to play with and experiment with, but they can also put pressure on us to present in a way that maybe we don't actually want to present ourselves. I like to pick the trends that work for my personal style and leave the rest, and I think that's something we learn over time!
This ALMOST makes me want to go back to work instead of WorkingFromHome 😅
Definitely get Erica’s style the most. I work in a corporate office, so we have to be in a fairly traditional corporate dress code, but...we always try to add in our own unexpected take on it.
We need more Erica in your videos, she's such a delight!!
Love the bar collar/tie bar, it looks like a really nice piece of jewelry.. Erica, you wear it well !!

love that Erica went with the bar collar! I think it looks unique and very fun and classy!

dilemma713 I can relate! I work in a hospital lab, which means I’m in a lab coat all day!
I love the idea of your scrunchie collection!! 💕
Ingrid Nilsen it’s a sunny yellow scrunchie today!

Would’ve def liked to see a corporate woman’s dress attire. But great video I really liked it! Thank you Ingrid!
Ahhh I loved this video!! I like that folks were in different industries, had different styles, and different body types! :D It felt more reflective of the variety of careers and people that are out there.
I love this kind of video! So real, it makes it more relatable because you see people of your own background and body shape :)

Ingrid, great video. I have to ask, where did you purchase the necklace you are wearing in the beginning of the video? Love it.

Would love a link to Michelle’s jewelry!

You might be able to wear more relaxed outfits while working in a start-up, but it is definitely not relaxing. I have found that working in a startup is the most stressful place to work.
This was such a great video!
Oh and... am I colourblind?
Why does Erica’s suit look emerald green to me, not navy?
I like the video style!
More please!
Where is that beautiful yellow and black dress from. I really want … actually I need it
ingrid-- where is your denim jacket from?
💜💜💜
why do I feel like I've seen u and Erica in this outfit before together? is this a late upload??
