I got some of the new elastomer 2.8 bellos gills. They only had 4 colors at TW so it made picking the colors easier lol. They have been great, I haven't tried the regular ones yet. I used Gamakatsu EWG's #1 and 1/16-1/8 worm weights. I am going to try the C rig, and also free rig, but there are so many snags where I've been fishing it has kept me from trying anything besides texas rigged. There are a lot of cypress trees with knees and extensive root systems, and a lot of times I'll get snagged on other people's snags lol. I'm fishing from a public fishing pier so I guess that's to be expected.....FishOn...jimi
I just ordered the new floating durable version and some neko hacks for rigging options. Looking forward to giving them a try. How was the durability of the original version?
Take some heavier weight lead wire and add a little bit of it in front of and behind the weight on that hook and it should help get that gill down a little faster and still allow you to use the smaller size bait!!
I think the unique SAF scent that smells like corn chips really does attract the fish and make them want to “eat” these baits. Try the cue bomb when you can get them 😉
Just bought some of the 3.8" and can't wait to try them out. I got the Honey dew colored ones. Thanks bud for showing how to fish them 👍🏻
I love how Bog knows when you set the hook!
Thanks for the rigging info Mikey, looks like sleepy time for Bog.Hope you guys had fun and keep the the good times coming.
Thanks bro that dog sure loves to sleep especially when I am not catching them LOL
That 2.8" on a dropshot with a 1/0 cover shot or rebarb hook is the deal!
I never thought about the small one on a dropshot... Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
Love the new bait Mike !!!!!
Love those baits. I've Texas rig and drop shotting for awhile. Carolina Rig could be another great way to use them. Good stuff!
Good information! 👍 thanks!
You should try the elastomer version of the bellows gill🔥 there’s also the Neko Hack made for it that slaps
You got a link?
Great looking baits.
Thank you Mikey for sharing ❤
I’m thankful for everyone’s ideas.
That bellows shad on a vibrating jig is pretty sweet and the 2.8 elastomer on a ned head is sneaky
I like fishing it on a free rig as well. You've given ideas on other ways of fishing it though.
Great video I like to fish them on a free rig too.
Yeah I’ve got some Bellows gills I gotta try and put them too work. A lot of grass on the Potomac though.
Bought some gee crack knock offs on temu . Smells the same can’t wait to try it lol
The Belows Shad on a swim jig is straight fireeeeee bro, trust me.....
Chatter bait ain’t bad either
I love the geecrack

Hey man, how would you rate those halo XD 3 pro rods? Are they worth the 100$?
I was thinking about getting one because they looked good. He will probably give you a biased opinion though since he is sponsored by halo.
@@andrewsproull8579 gotcha thanks man.
Mikey I see you using the KS2 elite! How do you like those rods???
What would u recommend for river fishing tried this thing out and went through 2 packs they just chewed the tails of and that was 2 3/8 gee crack
Also try the bellows stick in 3.8” in electric shad, I think that’s what you are looking for.

Bog just chilling with the bait bag on his nose
Sent ya a super sneaky texas rig technique that you can pitch with.

The ryugi tantrum control would work good with that bait
Oh my god these comment bots are out of control, at least they stroke the algorithm a little bit I suppose😂
Bogg does not seem very impressed with your new rigging techniques ... lol.👽
Hey Bog!
You sleepy?
Mikey ! Ur video making and editing skills have surpassed ur fishing skills!!!!!
Tough to hear what you were saying with the quack-quack music playing. You don't need the music. Otherwise, a lot of good info.
