We can correct this mistake by using correct formula. In the second question, if we refer to book it’s written that “image formed in convex mirror at any position is always Virtual and Erect”. But she said different answer, so her calculations are incorrect. The mistake is due to wrong formula of magnification, the right one is -v/u not v/u. I highly don’t support wrong answers because it could destroy marks in exam!! Btw I am at 10 grade, and I am so happy that I got correct teacher.

obv its cuz the image is present on the left side (as same as the object) and acc to new cartesian sign convention its negative^^ also concave lens always forms a virtual erect and dimished image so it makes it more obvious
