I have evey confidence in Joe Biden. I deplore this opportunism to set him aside in the event that at some point in the future, he MAY be incapable of doing the job. There are ways of dealing wth that IF AND WHEN it happens. Even trump's handlers considered slapping him with the 25th Amendment after losing the 2020 election. BUT that said, I remember the reports of Stan Lee's , the Marvel ambassador, last days. His manager faced charges of elder abuse for his part in continuing to book Stan for public appearances and signings when it was clear to eveybody that he was dying on his feet. For most of my life, Stan Lee was a pillar but I'm stuck with memory of this frail and confused old man worked to his grave. I don't wish that on Joe Biden.

AOC is another really smart woman. When she toudhed on the insurance evaluations during the hearings I said BOOM !!!! and as it turns out, estimating for convenience is fraudulent in most insurance contracts. To purposely embellish could leave MANY business underinsured in the event of a lost (possibly catastrophic) and then the insurance company takes the hit trying to defend itself with evidence of "fluctuating values". There are some VERY talented politicians coming up in the ranks which makes my brain appreciate their intelligence and presentation. Honorable and strong.

I would take Biden in a coma over trump, however, polls are going the wrong way. Multiple choice exams would confirm if Biden has a cognitive deficit or a verbal deficit. They are two different things. More public appearances are just going to make Biden look worse either way. We need answers from professionals, not arm-chair psychologists.
Perhaps Biden could challenge trump to history and government quiz contests (with multiple choice answers) Then voters would see how much wiser he is. It would also make for instant fact-checking of crump.
