When I watch Jackson's ride, I can see that he uses his legs much better than most people and more playful on his bike. How did you get this riding style?
From someone who barely knew about this kid a couple months ago, this shit almost brought me to tears. I'm a fan! Looking forward to his continuous reign, there's nothing like him on the circuit
Mont Ste-Anne... I've seen Minnaar win there, Hart, Bryceland, Hill, Bruni, so many legendary runs. 2016 with Gwin under the rain was special. Then Iles winning in 2022 was just perfect and I seriously thought nothing could beat that...I wished him a top place to repeat history, which he almost did. Then Goldstone stepped it up once more. That kid is truly amazing !!!
@@hobmarg How the hell I did not mentioned Steve Smith...I was running just behind him between the end of the track and the podium ! That was legendary too. Seems like my memory is going, I was wrong for Gwin too. But I remember beeing there. Hart had a huge one that day too even if Gwin stole the show.
“YOU’RE THE FUCKING MAN!!!!”….Love you Dad! That explains it all. Been watching him since his dad had him out shredding as a tiny kid. You could tell he was special, just like his dad knew.
Jackson, watching you lift that chainsaw on the podium brought a tear to my eye. He was looking down on you, and had the biggest smile I'm sure. You and Finn carry the torch now, you are making your country proud
The future of DH is Canadian! Jackson is doing more than just winning. He is inspiring the next generations of young riders. The future of MTB is bright with kids like Jackson carrying the torch. GO JACKSON GO!!!!
NO QUESTION, just a comment. I sincerely hope he can stay somewhat healthy. Let's face it, we run a dangerous game of risk here. But I PRAY that he can stay healthy. If he does, my belief is he will be the Tiger Woods of DH MTB. He truly is a rare prodigy that is amazing to say, he's only going to get better. I'll be watching and pulling for you every step/pedal of the way.
Love this kid!!! Light hearted fun loving personality reminds me of why I fell in love with riding bikes in the first place! Once in a generation talent! Praying for you and a long and jaw dropping career! Stay humble Jackson!
This documentary brought me tears to my eyes, like i‘m so proud of Jackson, but didn‘t even know him 🥹 He‘s the only reason, i watch the WC races, and ride a SC Nomad (for the bike, actually not the biggest reason). I would love to ride a V10 one day.
I've been following Jackson for the last couple of years since I saw him in the Shimano This is Home which is a great series in its own right. Really enjoyed this series as well and although I usually follow Slope Style which is where I thought he would head(still may one day) I'll be following his story and some downhill now as well. Brilliant first season Jackson, excellent doc series. Keep smashing it my friend.✌️
This was a fantastic finale to the Beyond Limits season with Jackson! I hope his second season is documented as well as this. Congratulations to Jackson Goldstone and the entire Syndicate team!!!
Such a good last episode of this series. Thanks GoPro for telling Jacksons story. Keep on with the series next year when he is hunting the overall again.
It would have been nice to see/hear more from his teammates. When he was out with the appendix stuff, Nina said how much she missed the energy he brings to the team. He's a special person, not just in terms of his riding skills.
I"m a big Goldstone fan, this is attested to by very many comments over the years right here on RUclips, but I do wonder how Laurie Greenland handles the team dynamic now. It must be odd for him to see the hubbub, cameras, production around Jackson. Laurie seems like such a good dude too and a great rider. Also, the dynamic with Steve Peat is great. Being on Santa Cruz has to be the best mentoring situation for a rider. After all, their other teammate is none other than the GOAT, Minaar. Interesting he didn't feature a single second in this. Egos and all, but Greg has already done it all.
I don’t think it’s an ego thing. It’s probably A. Greg isn’t sponsored by GoPro, and B. He has had enough spotlight, and was busy racing his own season
@@lanehartwig6917 Oh, I absolutely agree that at the end of the day, it's many things as you say. But ego plays a part in everything humans do, and I bet you cannot be 4x world champ, 20+ WCup wins, and into your 40s without a massive helping of ego. The real ego in psychology I'm referring to, not the way the word has been co-opted to have negative connotations now.
Bring on 2024. The year of Team Syndicate and the mighty V10 CC. Question. How in the hell does he corner like that ? And how can he talk when doing track previews ?
I would ask Jackson if the fun is more important than winning. I raced for many years and it was the fun that mattered to me. Nothing more fun than launching off a huge drop and being scared as *hit
Building physical strength and endurance. The race schedule is pretty intense, so riders just try to maintain their physical prowess, and the improve in the off season.
@@lanehartwig6917Nah look at the schedule for next year, it's shit and riders sometimes have waaay too much time between races. The only thing you've to be worried about is to not get injured, but that can happen to everyone in this sport. Physical strength and endurance is a must anyways, because you can't ride a 4 minute track in full speed without this. But it's not because of the schedule.
Better get better nutrition than that crap if you want longevity at the top in this sport! (or anything in life!). Also, please ask video editors to drop that inane background "music", just annoying when ambient sounds are best! signed...Canadian fan

If you could ask Jackson anything, what would it be? Drop your questions below!
Any tips you would give to an average rider like me to improve and be better?
Can I have your bike? That would be up there
When I watch Jackson's ride, I can see that he uses his legs much better than most people and more playful on his bike. How did you get this riding style?
What's it feel like to be the 2nd Baddest Jackson on the plant 😂😂
I would love to purchase your Helm and your Trikot, is there any Chance That Jackson lauch’s riding gear??

As a rider, he's so fun to watch. I had to luck to witness riders like Aaron Chase and Lars Tribus and Jackson is on the same level if not above.
Well I saw a movie about him 4 years ago I think and I knew he will be in top elite soon
In with you man I had to fight back tears!

Totally agree, would add Stevie Smith 2013 to the list with Gwin (2017 rain), Iles (2022) and Jackson this year. Iconic WCDH race runs.

He will dominate this sport for many years. he is super light. Knows how use the bike and cope with pressure. He got everthg the champ needs.

Awesome run. Cool that they had a clip of a grom on a balance bike in there, as a neat reference to when most people first saw Jackson on film.
