Words cannot express how proud I am of her. Doing this interview must be terribly painful for her, but she's doing it to promote the fight against ovarian cancer and to help women. What an incredible person.

Beth Mead, my English Rose. "If it was down to love and love alone, you'd live forever". Beautiful sentiment. ❤

My aunt died with Ovarian cancer before Christmas. It took six months for her GP to send her for tests, by which stage she was stage 4. Death came just four months after diagnosis. She was 77, and had lived a full life, healthy until that last 4 months. I can't imagine how hard it is to lose a mum so young. Ovarian cancer is a cancer that is difficult to disgnose early enough. That needs to change.

Aww this is absolutely awesome. Wishing Beth and everyone who takes part all the very best, it’s for her mum and a wonderful cause too, to raise awareness for ovarian cancer. I know Steph Houghton is doing something similar with a ex players (male and female) past and present, to raise awareness for MND, which her husband has. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for both important causes. Hopefully all the football clubs in England and The FA will donate or take part.
