Great analysis. After 7 games, Sanders is a solid QB, even after the initial hype. He needs to learn to get rid of the ball sooner, half the sacks are his fault. Next year, when Buffs get better line talent & play in a much weaker conference, Sanders should be a contender.
Love the accuracy from Shedeur. And who doesn't just love this cinderella story with Deon at the helm!? He's not doing it alone, however - that team has some serious talent! Heisman candidates on both sides (and then some, with Hunter). And a strong coaching staff. Great work, Tim. Thanks!
I’ve just enjoyed watching shaedeur put that weight on and get big enough to be dominant in d1!!! Really hope he keeps on elevating his game all the way to the league!!
What he showed on film wasn’t fluky it was very Brady-sequel. Prime had connected him with Tom and I believe Tom did take him under his wing. His ball placement timing and anticipation were solid. He had an 81% completion and still had bad balls. Coachable momenta
I hope Shedeur will win the Heisman Trophy it’s will be history a first because of a father & son love for each other & the love of the game of football two men having class knowledge wisdom experience & determination to win for the game of football. Shedeur is a winner like his father I Believe I Believe
Credit to Colorado offensive coordinator Sean Lewis for stringing together some cool passing concepts. Really enjoyed the game and video breakdown. Learning a lot👍👈🏈
This entire offense was installed and mastered with all new people. They're much better coached than tcu. You could tell that tcu seniors had their system better than their freshman. That really impressed me. Whenever Colorado caught them for the penalty on the first drive it looked like a statement.
If CU is on the short side of the field on the man-beater play, Shedeur should throw the ball in front of Dylan instead of behind him because there is not enough room to turn up field effectively after the catch when he throws the pass behind him which led to Dylan hurting himself trying to turn around.
The most impressive thing for me on the spin-out was the awareness. He slowed down to set up the block from his lineman. and stepped over him, instead of going around him, because he needed the room.
Tim, Great breakdown. Why didn't TCU blitz at all? I know CU was sending 4-5 receivers out, but who's calling the shots? TCU got played by CU OC Sean Lewis. If you're Nebraska, wouldn't you want to test out that OL (that hasn't played together very long) and put some pressure on Shedeur. Can't do much worse than TCU did sitting back in that man. I'd try some zone blitz. Thoughts?
Not after this week. He’s out of the conversation as soon as they played a real team. Oregon covered a 21 point spread easily. Put in the second string when they were up by 42. Only reason Colorado moved the ball or scored was in the 4th against a bunch of walk ins and freshman.
Had only the OC continue to call these plays and tempo for the remainder of the season they could have went to a bowl game. Instead he shutdown his offense to keep his playbook hiding from the team, to use at his next job, that he went and interviewed for on the team bye week, he knew he was leaving before the Stanford game 😮. The coaching fraternity is real, and Coach-Prime is not a part of it, nor does he need to be😂
GREAT BREAKDOWN , BUT ALSO IF TRAVIS CATCHES THOSE 2 TD'S CATCHES IN THE INZONE .. COLOADO WINS BY 2 TD'S PLUS THE 3 POINTS THEY WON BY . . JUST SAYING 😏😉
I don't mean this question in a negative way because CU is my alma mater and I'm happy for Coach Prime and the entire team. But just curious the difference between college and pro. I felt like Sanders played well, but for the most part he stared down almost every receiver on every throw. Am I seeing that right? If so, how do college QBs train out of that?
No you are not seeing that right. He just talk you through his route tree progression where the ball is usually going to the 3rd option in his progression. What you are miss understanding is his head placement. The Defensive backs key on your head to see your progression during the route tree so we are taught to keep a calm head and just move our eyes and feet through the progression. His head might be pointed toward a receiver but his eyes are moving along the progression.
@@alkebulanwarrior1963 Thanks for the explanation. Let's dive a little deeper for fun. Yes, there is a route tree. That's the design. But that doesn't stop a QB from locking in on someone pre-snap for example. Let's say that SS was doing what you're saying though. Steady head, lots of eye movement. His head is still pointing towards one half of the field though. Couldn't that be used against him in some way? I ask because when watching NFL commentators they always reem QBs for just looking at one side of the field. Anyway, just fun football talk from someone who only understands the basic. Thanks!
So, 1 game and he's getting hyped up all over the place. Deion being his dad is going to give him a huge advantage because he's basically been going to football-U his entire life. He might be great, but there's no way to know from 1 game.
That first passing play , the underthrow go to #12 Travis Wright @1:12 , should have still been called P.I. ? No? Sure, play into it more but if you watch, its underthrown but catchable and he gets run through and pushed, with contact, out of his position & his alotted right of passage to the ball. This Game may have been the catalyst to a new born rivalry in the BIG12 for years to come. They playing TCU now every year in conference after this shocking upset and victory and I LOVE IT! I am not a Colorado Fan but i love Deion Samders, I love what he has done and the way he leads and helps shape ypung boys into chizzled men on the firld and off the field. It is a inspiration to see and College Football needs more of this and it shpuldnt be so far and few between but corruption has ruled for a long time - so when Truth comes knocking and begins to dismantle the facade - It gets very fun !

I think Shedeur is for real. Going to enjoy watching CU this season.
this aged nicely
@@innercabbage are you stalking me? Weirdo.
@jefferycole2807 and Shedeur is good, offensive line is a turnstile though.
Real deal . Can't believe what I saw .
Probably best game ever watch.
LOVE that you are covering CU, keep it up!
Just joined patrion- hope to watch breakdowns of Shedeur all season and us whooping the crap out of Nebraska on Saturday.

Not this year. Just watched Bo and the Ducks make them look like a HS team. The hype is over.
It is a MUST to do these for the season! PRIME content! Great Show.
Shedeur is outstanding!! Someone 2 watch !Alpha quarterback outstanding!!
Lol. Just watched him get out classed and outplayed by Nix and the Ducks.

Thx. Great stuff
Need you on the Buffs, Tim. Love your breakdowns. Best is the RUclips game by a mile.

@20:07.... unfortunately, there was again pocket breakdown at the LT position, causing the qb to move left and play create.
Great job....man this team is going to be fun to watch.
hell yeah!! been waiting for this. saw jt o''sullivan's rundown as well. thank you tim!!
The most impressive thing for me on the spin-out was the awareness. He slowed down to set up the block from his lineman. and stepped over him, instead of going around him, because he needed the room.
Love to see it!
Awesome breakdown 🎉
Great breakdown as always!
Waiting to see the updated rankings!

You meant Travis is the front runner right? Never seen anything like that in my life.
I'd put him on the same plane as a Jordan Travis. Caleb is still ahead of everyone
You’d be wrong. Just stunk it up against the #9 team.
Do one on the offensive line and DE
@10:49... looked like some pocket breakdown going on too.
Love you Bro please follow Colorado QB play each week you are good love the channel.
Tom Brady wouldn't promote him like he does if he wasn't HIM
He sure as hell isn’t. 159 yards and one td vs the Ducks? Was 112 and 0 vs oregons first team the first three quarters. Colorado sucks
Shaduer and Travis both have to be top Heisman candidates.
Not after this week. He’s out of the conversation as soon as they played a real team. Oregon covered a 21 point spread easily. Put in the second string when they were up by 42. Only reason Colorado moved the ball or scored was in the 4th against a bunch of walk ins and freshman.
Dude was dropping more dimes than a slot machine
Stunk it up vs the Ducks though

He was the top guy last year until the old line fell apart. And before they fell apart they were barely doing the job before that
No way he stays until his senior year... man the team that lands him has a franchise contender.
I think you’re either over reacting or you don’t have a clue. Just watched him suck, suck bad, vs the Ducks. Looked horrible.

@@MarvinBreton So you don't think being Deion's kid, which generates clicks, has anything to do with all the hype? Welcome to the 21st century.
