Laugarvatn walking tour

Laugarvatn is a tiny town close to the Golden Circle. It has a shallow lake and parts of it are kept warm by nearby hot springs all year round. It offers many hiking routes in the closeby mountains as well as other activites such as golfing and sailboarding.

06:51 - Fontana geothermal baths entrance.
08:05 - Danger. Hot springs.
08:23 - Laugarvatn lake.
12:14 - Héraðsskólinn. This former school was designed by Guðjón Samúelsson, considered by most the greatest architect in Iceland´s history.
The building was constructed in 1928.
