- IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EU CUSTOMERS: I have just found out that watches will not be shipped from Sweden, but straight from the factory in China. How will that influence the price of the watch for EU customers it remains to be seen - perhaps there will be an update from Alato.
Arvet is the debut watch of Scandinavian sensation Alato. A 38 mm GADA watch whose dial is bettered only by its case, Arvet is available on KickStarter for as low as $395!

I want to take this opportunity to announce the winner of the second draw of the Memoir Giveaway, after the initial winner failed to claim the prize! The lucky subscriber that has received the number 102 has until May 27th to claim the prize through emailing me!

We will take care of VAT on our side. Shipping is as mentioned done straightly from the factory in Hongkong. This to minimize carbon emissions, and making the shipping time to backer faster.
This is the most original watch I've seen in quite a long time. Thanks for presenting this video.
Thank you for watching!
Thank you 🙏 /Pierre
Awesome watch! Love the Grand Seiko 44GS esque case design and the quite special and attractive dial 🤩 lovely review Toni 🤘📸⌚️
Thank you, Dick!
Very beautiful dial. The choice of different textures is spot on and the red really speaks to me. On top of that, the dimensions are also NOT an afterthought, unlike that male endlink 😂. Awesome that the creator is already addressing this issue. Excellent video, Toni 🎉
Thank you, glad you liked it!
LOVE this kind of hands! Not that the case is not worth looking, nor the whole dial. And then, there is this rotor... Guess many will stare at it, for long, almost all of them will light it too! Go figure, try to explain this to non-watchnerds!!!
Problem is the colour here. Burgundy looks amazing indeed, so are the other two though... Tough choice for long term use.
Thanks for the presentation/review Toni, be well mate. Oh... and enjoy when it finally arrives (already 33 backers, guess you're one of...)
PS Very-very good proposition (price per specs... per looks!). A true GADA, at a very appealing price indeed.
Really hope it goes through! I agree black and blue both look great, but for me burgundy's a no-brainer! Thank you for your support, Stavros, and I'm happy you enjoy my finds!
Thanks for this nice comment 😊
Nice watch, the dress/sport hybrid aesthetic has always been appealing to me. The dial here is sharp and understated which is also a plus. Wish this was 200m but I get it. And a movement with lume...wow...lol!
Not gonna lie - it doesn't really good look on anything else but its bracelet. Thank you, Fred!
@@themicrobrandexpert I can see that. Leather would not be an option here.
The only watch I need needs a day - date complication :)
Oh, point taken 🙂
Est-ce que cette finition rosé existe sur le kickstarter ?
@@gillescussol2764, oui!
pretty cool looking watch. I love the rotor.. but no date, no day, no thanks!
To me it's nor a problem, but I completely understand. Thank you for watching!
Another one I agree with you on! Thanks for the review. I signed up for the red one!
Thank you for watching and, on behalf of Pierre, thank you for the support!
Thank you 🙏 Means a lot for us. I am sure you will enjoy it.
It's a Mitch Mason Chronicle with a different dial. Check it out.
HOW COULD I NOT HAVE SEEN IT! As a matter of fact I am a big fan of the Maelstrom and just last month I have contacted the brand's owner about the possibility of loaning me his upcoming model when ready! Very good, Jamie, hat's off to you!
The Chronicle has the same inspiration as we did with the Arvet. It comes from a 44GS in the 1970s.
The Mitch Mason case is however a lot thicker than our Arvet.
A great case design in all three of them ;)
Hi Toni, wow…looks gorgeous! ✌🏻
Hello, Brian! I agree, it's stunning, definitely in my Top 5 this year!
I'm not completely won over with the dial design ( colour loks matt & inviting, though) e.g. the '12' indice needs to be larger than others.
However, the case ( big tick for drilled lugs with a quick release bracelet - most watches need to do this), bracelet- not 'o' style & quick adjust ( another must have feature nowadays- i adorie my new CW63 36 for this).
Please, no more transparent case backs.
For the issues & I cannot purchase but I hope the buyers enjoy their watch.
Of course, it's impossible to please everyone, but I thank you for the feedback!
OK, now I really like this one also...♥
It's an amazing watch and Pierre is still taking preorders at KS discount.
@@themicrobrandexpert I already got one!
@@davethomson1312, was I wrong?
Hello and thanks for this discovery! Nice new microbrand.
Thank you for watching!
It's not for me, but it seems a very good watch. Great in-depth review as always.
Thank you, Darren!
Which watch is shown at 8.10?
That would be one of my minigrails, my early 50th birthday present to myself:: a preowned CW C65 SuperCompressor.
@@themicrobrandexpert it flows well!
“The only watch you need” What is it with RUclipsrs and ridiculous hyperbole? Thought this reviewer was above that, my mistake.
Strange,I believe my statement is actually anti-hyperbole. It’s a statement I stand behind 100%. It’s a versatile watch with a good movement that’s easy to service, finished to a good standard for a very good price. What’s hyperbolic in saying if you need a watch, this would tick most of the boxes? And I say “most” because one commentator above aptly argued that this one doesn’t have a date. Perhaps you interpreted my assertion as stating that this is the object of ultimate desire. I merely pointed out to the fact that if someone wants a watch to do it all, this one’s as good as any. I’m arguing your statement because you seem to appreciate my work and I thank you for that!
No more gilt!
OK...
