    This is the best example of how you don't need fancy tools and shit to build something epic..... Just a few good tools and some creativity. 😊

    I love the clamp / bar bend method. also the clamp and wire twist method. A lot of the other stuff is over my head but great to see how it's done. Great video.

    Awesome bike, nice work. If you had to do it again, would you add suspension?

    • @sheanyquist

      Honestly, the fat tire and lower air pressure really helps the ride. Kills range, but makes it very smooth

    That's the ugliest and most beautiful thing I have ever seen! You got some serious old-timer skills, you don't see that much anymore. Reminds me of my dad he had no schooling but learned from mistakes and you're not as old, lol.

    So how do you get the fish you caught home? I don't see any kind of chest to carry them back to the truck on.
    Interesting build. If it had pedals it would make a great TEOTWAWKI machine. I build two very simular machines based on a KLR 650 and a 74 Honda 125. The Honda uses a Trails Bike Drivetrain.
    Just getting into electric bikes this year.

      I ate the fish right out of the water, hahaha. Thus build is one of my best. We discussed pedals, but just decided to make it clean. The guy I built it for uses it a lot and haven't had any issue yet. Gotta love the simplicity of electruc

    2 wheel drive..... go anywhere.... I been doing it for over 10 years in Canada.... my current ride for off road is 4 x 4 :) 2 wheel drive full suspension ebike, 2 wheel drive Rambo ebike trailer... 7 battery packs, solar recharge.... hills ??? what hills ??? mud ??? what mud ??? unless it's more than a foot deep, we plow right through it... pull 200 .lbs in trailer... NO problem... but better yet, with regen braking in trailer STOPPING 200 .lbs in trailer from 40 KPH... NO problem :) ya, we learned that lesson the hard way, stopping 200 .lbs in trailer with only bike brakes... almost a hood ornament for a city bus.... and they dont have hoods.... nice build but your controller, is going to run too hot, it needs more air flow for cooling, behind the bag, only the sides exposed, cook an egg on that sucker... or add liquid cooling, water blocks, pumps, rads, amazon or ali express... yep, done that too about 10 years ago, liquid cooled controllers.... Crystalyte motors, Kenny makes some of the best around...

    • @sheanyquist
      @sheanyquist  4 года назад +1

      It really depends on how you ride it. At full speed, probably about 40 miles. But if you cruise it could do about 80 miles
