    One of my favorite songs from them, such a great performance, Dennis sounds fantastic..I feel Brian is also an underrated singer, he looks so happy and healthy here. If only things could have stayed that way...

    Brian was on another level from other musicians in any genre. And this video shows that the Beach Boys were a legitimately great 'band', in that the entire unit was sensational. The whole concert - if you haven't seen it - is remarkable

      When I was a little girl basically wanted to be a teenager when I grew up. I watched all those teenage dance shows and danced along with them. The teenagers seemed to be haves lot of fun. Note: I was NOT dreaming of becoming a grownup, ha-ha!

    My very first concert was back in '88 and it was the Beach Boys playing in the Coliseum at Klondike days in Edmonton. That led to a 40-plus year still continuing journey of musical discovery

      Per Wikipedia: "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow" is a novelty nonsensical doo-wop song by the Rivingtons in 1962....Together with the Rivingtons' 1963 novelty song "The Bird's the Word", "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow" was the basis for the song "Surfin' Bird", a number four hit in 1963 by The Trashmen."

      I’m a 99 born merchant. 90s kid by the skin of my teeth. I listen to the beach boys and the Beatles pretty much most days. Incredible bands and songs impact no matter how many times I listen to them.

      Jim & Hugh O'N LOL. Truthfully though I do like Brian’s voice best but a lot of the songs would not have worked without Mike. I don’t get the hate. Mike was a good vocalist as well and was a much different tone so it’s like comparing apples and oranges

      Brandi Wilson he’s a bit of a creep and he made a god awful beach boys album in the 80s and he stoped a lot of great work from Brian being released

      His bass parts in harmonies were good, but he was clearly the worst lead vocalist in the group. Brian liked it though, so I guess I must be wrong

      Ringo was definitely better. This is sadly the only performance Ive ever seen Dennis go off on, but Ringos got plenty of absolutely killer drum songs. Rain, She Said She Said, Strawberry Fields Forever just to name a few. But if you can convince me Dennis was better, please do.
