This was Next_Fest, a festival BMTH organized in Japan where they invited other bands, including BM, MTH, Yoasobi etc... So we did know BM was there, and we were expecting/hoping for them to perform this together!! THey did it for 3 consecutive days! Choreography from BM was a pleasant surprise! I honestly thought only SU would come on stage to sing with them, but they did the whole package and it looked and sounded awesome!! I am personally not a big fan of the camera work on this video, but still was a great performance!! You can see both SU and MOA being so happy to perform with Ollie, the joy in their faces, the smile! THey also went to hug him at the end of the song!! This was something special for BM!!
Before I watched the MV, I thought there were only SU and BMTH. I didn’t expect it to be BMTH+BM+choreography+anime background+crazy fans. This not only fulfilled the fans' wishes but even exceeded their expectations. Thanks for your great reaction.
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。They performed REAL (BMTH+BM on stage together) "Kingslayer" 4 times in Japan last year. I witnessed the 2nd REAL one in Nagoya on Nov.1. That was mesmerizing 😍 and I forgot to breathe during the performance. In an interview Momometal made an interesting comment like : (1) The theme of this choreo is "collision of souls" that has an image like we throw the power multiplied by the two bands at the audience. (2) We danced with our fullest power and rigid determination thinking "We do not care no matter what happens to us after the performance" I saw the girls literally do it. (BABYMETAL did this performance after their own one-hour show in the festival curated by BMTH.) The one thing worried me was the statement at the end of this song in the final show in Tokyo on Nov.4. After joyful hugs with the girls, Oli said "We are never gonna play Kingslayer without them, ever again. Just not right." I know BABYMETAL and BMTH are going to appear in the same festivals this year in USA and Europe. I look forward to seeing them preform Kingslayer together again on those occasions. But BMTH should continue to perform this amazing and popular song even in a virtual mode without BM being actually there. (using recorded part of BM instead) (ps. I found BMTH played the "virtual" Kingslayer in the concert in Bangkok, Thai on Nov. 7 after Japan. And in 2024 BMTH started to use 3 CG figures resembling the girls on the backdrop. That's good 👍)

welcome back Gm-Metal, well this ball got really rolling with this because the ladies" love for BMTH raised their profile in Japan to the point where they could host their own festival there and of course it just happened to be while BABYMETAL was back in Japan gearing up for their Asian tour so they performed this song together 4 times all with a special moment between the ladies and Olly, you should checkout Omajination's video where she brought together all 4 endings and lots of different angles from fancams, and another music video was filmed during this festival too "Metali" directed by Circus Head, the same dude that directed this.
When the graphics for the Nex_Fest were published and both names were on them, it was clear that this was finally going to happen. And yet, I was still ultimately hyped when the first fancams of it appeared on Tw(X) and Co. Especially with that intro and the audience going crazy at the end of it.... For the people on site, it must indeed have been a first-class trip. :) I didn't care that I had to work the next day and spent half the night watching every little bit of it. The 3 year long wait for this joint performance was worth it, and the fact that they included some of the fancams I saw that evening in this MV somehow keeps bringing back that hype feeling from that night. 🔥🤘🏻 _____________________ _"America invented rock. Great! There are actually two other versions worth to be seen, one is a compilation of fancams, put together and edited by omajination herself, pretty neat ❤. The other one is from Kurosama, he edited out the streaming stuff, inserting more fancam stuff, it's less frantic and IMHO more enjoyable 😅. Imho Omajination’s video it’s much better than the official one, (and no copy headaches since it’s fancams) you have exclusive proshots from inside the stage and what do you do with them? Cripple the images into instagram-esque cropped video, plane switches every 2 seconds… what a waste of good footage. The event itself was very good 😅
Well we could say Moa workedcher ass of this is her work. BMTH is the organizer of this Festival. BABYMETAL had a small break between the US Tour and the second leg of their EU Tour. Their own Show endet then they had to rush over to BMTH, so they had the Chance for 4 Shows. The first Show was a failure since Su got out of breath, so her Performance was changed and this paid off. There were rumours that they would be their.
Rumors? BABYMETAL were announced as performers for NEX_FES in July of 2023. The festival was in November. They had a good rest when their set ended earlier that evening, and they joined BMTH during their set for this song.

Everyone thought it was finally going to get to play Kingslayer live with the 2 bands, even though the BMTH official asked, 'Was it worth the four-year wait?', lol. There's less than a month to go until 'Legend MM' 2days at Yokohama Arena! It had a big earthquake in Japan the other day and I've been quiet for a while, but I'll enjoy the videos again.

My opinion is that both Su and Oli were so pumped with adrenaline the first performance, that it caused their vocals to be off. 🦊 🖖❤
