I saw the lights tour in 2008 twice, and went to Oregon to see the last tour in 2022 but I had to miss it and I was devastated. So I'm hoping for at least a 3rd show.
Three times for me. I'm satisfied. They're three great performances and now the band just doesn't have the same punch. The songs sound fine, but there's not as much visceral energy. You just can't pull that off when you're middle aged.
I fear that they played their last show in Cleveland in 2022. He ended where he started...

I have said it a million times Trent Reznor is a Musical GOD. All these years and NINE INCH NAILS is still on top and to me the best at what they do! Come back to San Antonio please we are waiting the last time you came I was there as I am every time and that was in 2019! To Damn Long!!!! I NEED MY DOSE!!!!!

@@truthhurts79 Doesn't matter. They got it right, as NIN is not just for metal heads but for people that might as well listen to Portishead, Massive Attack or Tricky, and I have seen all 3 and they are well dark!

NIN always stays fresh. Proud to still be a fan of such a fine brand.
Best live band ever. They have something as mad as like 50 songs to play on a tour. Every single setlist is different, announced to the tech team on the day. For every individual show the lighting has to be reprogrammed. Therefore the show can start any time between 9pm and 9.30 but it always finishes at 11pm (noticed the clock on the side during "Hurt"?). I was on a short one in London but it had a lot of Downward Spiral and Broken on it. The date before was more about The Fragile apparently. Next time I think I just go and spend the money and see 3 in a row. Worth it!

Every now and then I RUclips search "NIN live" this is a gift from the media angels. Thank you. Really. So much. Thank you.
I remember I bought my first NIN CD in 1995 as a freshman in college. I come from a religious background, so having it, let alone listening to it, felt subversive and dangerous. And among all those angst filled gems, I found this sweet instrumental "A Warm Place". That track spearheads a long list of NIN pieces that comprise my daily and weekly rituals. A Warm Place right before I start dialysis. La Mer when the tramadol isn't kicking the pain. The list goes on. The line begins to blur.
I love how they're fading in and out of the light like a premonition that you can't really grasp, and imagine how hard it is for them to play their instruments like that basically in complete darkness
Love that they still play Home! One of my fav With Teeth era tracks.
The most underrated track from "with teeth" it's a shame it was left off most releases.

Pretty impressive that Reznor in his late 50s is still doing live sets which I prefer listening to than studio albums.

If I were in the crowd, people would have HATED ME, cause I totally would have flipped my lid hearing that live! LIke screaming along throwing my body around like a mad man, the way it should be. Been loving this song for 30 years and never got to hear it, or anything from NIN, live.

The reason Trent stands out and IS a rock God is because is music is a part of himself, it is him, and therefore every show he does it's his way to express his being as a creative gifted individual.
I love this!! I hope they tour again, they put on an amazing show and they have different setlists every show not like all these other groups that play the same exact songs and do the exact same thing every show.

i absoloutely hate the fact that NIN are one of my fav bands and Pino Palladino is my ultimate more than anything in the whole world favorite bass player. Sanctified at VEVO will never be repeated. Im depressed.

Where was this gig Videotape?
The video is built by editing parts of a couple concerts to make them look like one. The audio is a mix of songs from the two nights they played at Philadelphia last year, and the video comes mostly from those shows but it also has footage for a couple more gigs for additional camera angles.
While I do wish the other instruments weren't as washed out, it is great to really hear the elements Atticus is driving.

Wow, I was just commenting on his voice going to shit around 2007ish but it sounds so much better here. For his age and what I've heard I'm so happy to hear the original key for a lot of songs and him hitting notes well without it so strained.

Choruses are much strain on Reznor's voice, it's why the few times they did play it they pitched it way the heck down.

After PHM and Spiral I lost NIN unfortunately. Maybe will try to listen to the newer stuff again, but its just not as good for me.
Trent has always been a great musician and lyricist, but he sings about as well as Madonna. Get a vocal coach bro.
