I love Durban especially the Umhlagna gateway area.South Africa was my first African country I visited in March2019.Now I'm trying to decide between South Africa& Tanzania to invest in real estate & business.It's a hard decision to make.That's a nice hotel right near the gateway mall area.That hotel is part of Marriott hotels and I like that they offer affordable 2 bedroom suites which is perfect for families traveling with children.Also a brand new Hilton Inn hotel is nearby in the Umhlanga area.I'm a hilton honor member so I usually stay at hilton hotels and receive great discounts especially with points for free stays& room upgrades.I'm so excited about my future in Africa. Durban is such an underrated city; green, clean and popping with so much on offer. The 8-mile promenade and a long coastline with towns and resorts, game parks and the best year-round weather in SA. South Africa needs to really market itself more: unmatched in Africa.

Born and grew in Durban was always wondering why Durban is so underrated.Most times when people talk about beautiful city always Cape Town,I beg to differ Durban is the best does have Miami Vibe If American you can understand,Cape town is class but Durban has spirit of Ubuntu and undisputed diversity.Cape is well marketed as compare to Durban as a person who’s in London UK 🇬🇧 Cape Town is talk about lots.All in all SA is beautiful 🇿🇦

I love south Africa
Am based in Ireland for many yrs but when I think of home, there's no other place that pulls my heart strings like Durban. I miss home like crazy and because of the very first start of the pandemic our flights were cancelled and we weren't able to come home. I was already imaging the bunny chows from the Workshop, Ushaka at Durban South Beach and the newly extended promenade, Eating spicy pine on the beach and yes offcoarse all those amazing things I live about Durban. Thank you for bringing me back home in this awesome video💕💕💕💕💕

From the looks of it I like Durban better than Cape town
Cape Town is more upmarket than Durban but I will still choose Durban over Cape Town.

Being from Durban and now living in Cape Town. I choose Durban, can't wait to move back home. Cape Town is very expensive and not as homely as Durban. For middle class people, you get more for your money, upmarket restaurants are cheaper, property is affordable in Durban. Cape Town you must be rich to afford everything this city offers and little integration.

It is a laid back City in a beautiful province blessed with ocean and beautiful nature check Drakensberg, St Lucia you will be blown away. It's an idealic city was voted best city to raise family, best private schools in the country I can go on and on just Google Durban or Kwazulu Natal 😊😊 it's just homey

Florida Road is great, but the alternative to Florida is Davenport Road in Glenwood.
