    Wonderful photos!
    Back in the early 90s
I was at a garbage dump by 70mile house where someone had thrown out a box of old photos from the 1890s -1930s photos are mostly BC and a few of Alberta and Saskatchewan.
    I couldn't leave them there.

The photo of Sinclair canyon brought to mind a very scary incident. I was riding with my friend Gary Mitchell in his parents brand-new green 1959 Pontiac 4-door car. As we entered Sinclair canyon Gary reached down to turn on the windshield wipers, but accidentally turned off the headlights instead. We were driving blindly in the dark with sheer rock walls on either side of us, while Garry fumbled to turn on the lights.

Every time I've driven through the Sinclair Canyon, I've been stopped by a Dall Sheep standing, or laying down, in the middle of the road.

The good old days of colonialism and forced assimilation.
