I started as a shaman...got to 30, got my Windfury aaaaand...used it for 6 levels before realizing it's pretty fucking shit 90% of the time, so i started over multiboxing for the first time ever :D A lock and a priest, it's a RADICALLY different experience, sometimes it feels like i'm playing something like Dragon Age or something because i have control of more than one character :D I never use food or water because my priest is basically there to wand and heal haha :P
Well the last thing isnt really true, sure in pvp u can play different specs. But in pve you are gonna be bound to either frost or fire. Arcane doesnt exist as a spec. U can tho play FrostFire in MC and Bwl. Rogue on the other hand has many pve builds. You can be daggers and go combat daggers, U can choose swords and go combat swords. Once u pick a weapon its hard to switch though but can be done if u wait for the gear and u use dkp. Also you can play seal fate daggers in pve. You can also play seal fate swords in pve (which i like alot!) You can play hemo to buff the raid but u are gonna suck on dmg. So 4 viable perfectly fine specs. Seal fate requires alot of gear though!
@@rudy1999 I would rather be evil than puntable. My mage is a gnome because I rolled Alliance but you definitely can't beat the undead's casting animations.

Please everybody roll a frost mage...that way the guild takes 1/3rd of you on raids because there is so many of you..makes more room for the rest of us that actually took the effort to level a class that isn't a eye roll
Getting to 60 for a casual takes weeks? That's not a casual player anymore. A real casual player will take months. Your view of an actual casual player is warped.
I did say weeks or months. Casual is a very broad term. Some consider casual is someone who plays 4 hours a day but from my point of view as someone who can only play a few hours a week, 4 hours a day is hardcore.

Im sorry but mages are not and I repeat _ARE NOT_ fastest class to level, yes they are the class that can group a huge amount of packs, but it doesnt mean they are the fastest. And I can prove that.
I'm playing a Troll mage already :). Lev 36. Was rogue with friends in the alliance , but my hearth called me back to the Horde.
There is only one reason to play a mage:
MAGE IS COMPLETELY BROKEN IN EVER ASPECT.

Always play horde so might try a filthy gnome on the fresh server classic when it comes out. Never played a mage haha

never been an issue, im fully geared all the time and always #1 on dps
