Sir I'm confused!!! you have written it's pressure drop is less but it's also pressure drop is more than tube exchange (shell and tube heat exchanger) please explain by replying in comment sir !!
Why heavier will jump the weir, to the other side? Since they are heavier, they'd just settle and not move to the other side, isn't it? Refer Video at 12.42 mins

Dear depending upon the flow direction the normal PHE that u will see are basically counter current.Cross current PHE are they but there are few papers available on the same very less literature is available on it.
