OMG!!!!! Trust me, I have had a full year of trouble installing eve-ng to my server.... I did it on the first time with no trouble at all with your help. The video is really clean. Your explaination is surpurb!!!! I'm on my way to setting up a Junip[er lab!!!! Sooooo Happy!!!!!!!!! I have a Dell R720xd with 24 cpu and 288GB of RAM.... Boy I'm about to hurt something.
Thanks for the video. I followed your guide and everything went well until the installation. When the CM ready, ISO is attached, it can't find it and stucked at boot screen. Do you know what can I miss?
I have the same Server. Dell PowerEdge R620 but with 1.8TB of HD. What would you recommend to have the setting for EVE-NG Pro? I would like to have about 120 nodes working at the same time. (CPU? | Memory? | Hard Disk?) using ESXi
have you done a video on how to spin up and use eve-ng on the cloud, to spin up lab wherever you are for free to test a given network and emulate a change and its behaviour to be successful or not and then make any changes.
Can you share the setting (Memory Hard Disk ) you use for your Pro edition? I want to be able to run 20 2 30 devices max. Also if you have multiple topologies save. Does that eat up a lot of storage n memory?
Very nice video but after selecting hardware virtualization and powering on the EVE NG VM. I get the following message "GNU GRUB version 2.02 beta2-36ubuntu3.29 - Minimal BASH Like Line Editing is Supported. I shutdown the VM and clicked edit, VM Options and checked the Boot Options and it shows BIOS instead of EFI which is correct. But I tried using EFI and nothing helped. So I tried typing TAB and press enter and typed exit and press enter. It sent me back to the original install screen selecting language. Any assist would help Thanks.
Issue RESOLVED: After researching the GRUB bootloader. I decided to reinstall EVE-NG iso making sure the hardware virtualization was checked. I selected Automatically update security hoping it will also update the GRUB bootloader to the master boot record. And successful I now see my EVE NG IP address and and login name. Please note: If your not experienced with doing your own updates I recommend choosing auto security updates. Again Great video!!
Please help. WARNING : neither Intel VT-x or AMD-V Found , this message doesn't goes , I made changes in vmx file by adding vhv.enable = "TRUE"the ,changed the option in MMU/CPU virtualization appropriately but thats not helping. I am using HP Gen 8 hardware ,ESXI 6.5
Hi Aaron, thank you for this video. It helps. However, when I install the EVE-NG using iso on ESXi , once the installation is completed, i do not see any IP in the main page. I have given a static IP and I can see it in the network configuration. But it does not appear in the main page and I am unable to login via web page. I can however ping my static IP... Any idea ?
Did you at least get the message that shows your correct time zone? Which only populates if you have internet connection via the NTP- Network Time Protocol client and Server feature.
watching from pakistan, issue is not getting web ip address after restarting, also not getting web console via ip address. i am selecting zone US, also tried india as there is no option of my country. what's the issue? how can i get web console??

I have not. Cloud is not one of my specialties unfortunately.

I always say its better to have more than not enough :)
Please help me to install asa in eve, it is not working and stuck in boot loop with error, could not read boot disk.
If I had to guess - you probably need to add more RAM and or HDD space for your ASA then it will boot. The defaults might not be enough.

Are you using HTTPS? Also, your browser should give you a certificate error when trying to login
@@AaronEngineered same issue, not using https
