He is classic and modern with so much soul ,just perfect jazz guitar!!

One of the best jazz pickers around the world with no doubt. He should be much more known! Probably it's not dark and experimental enough for jazz milenials, people like rosenwinkle and others.this why i love his melodies and phrasing. It's not boring, for those like me, who come from other music styes.
Listen to his album "Shadowless"! It's modern, dark, complex and wonderful to listen to!

Man, Even if John wasn't playing both rhythm and lead simultaneously, I would still say his melodies were super smooth. But the fact that he's doing both at the same time... Just Unreal!
