That little fitting on the bottom of the Shower valve (for a Bathtub filler) is where to add in your Hand-Held Shower before the Shower is closed in... Aloha
Ok after looking at this post again,jeramey did you do some VERY good calculations on where that hole would come out on the outside of the barn metal sheeting??? If not you you nailed it!! Right on the flat part of the sheeting and right next to a outside screw. Now you had the ODDS on your favor..Its a sign .

I would fit an easy access panel just in case you ever need to repair reseal the drain from the shower other wise you'll have to remove the whole thing

I think the first thing any homestead needs is a place to cook and a place to 💩 poop! It just eliminates a lot of problems. You can easily make a temporary shelter and fire to keep warm but the first thing everyone uses in the morning is the bathroom and usually the last thing at night. As a young child, I hated braving snow and cold weather to get to the outhouse but I always used the index pages from the Sears and Montgomery Wards catalogs because they were the softest.
The build is always good but the fun in the first Idaho snow and the sheep following Melissa, that's what I enjoyed the most. Keep the love alive. It's very refreshing these days. God bless and stay safe 🙏❤

You might want to consider installing a heater/vent combo. It is awesome when you get out of the shower in the dead of winter when the bathroom is otherwise cold. I installed a Panasonic brand heater vent combo 10 years ago here in north idaho and my wife still thanks me..just a thought
i love the snow i grew up in connecticut vermont and upstate newyor i even had a snowmobile had a blast as a kid now im in texas glad i stayed now im older 55 at that cold makes me hurt alot so why i stayed here but ya you guys enjoy im jealous but happy for yall i love what your doin

It hit 7 here burr n Parr of the house is not getting electrical to the heaters..thank god the bathtub is dripping it saved my pipes..the next night it was 9...I ordered a cool shower head that hooks up to faucet. .it's shaped like a phone..one project at a time..my home is..Home Sweetestest Home. .love every problem n watching u guys..ur still my favorite people to watch..keep its up

Jake has a massive ego and does not play well with others. There is an underlying tone with those two that bothers me. The alternative channel is a concern. Their property is not safe. One down tree or bear attack to the yurt and it's disaster. That makes it hard to buy into what they are doing.
