I use a lot of the Yum dinger stick bates in 4 and 5 inches in my home province here in South Africa. They work anywhere.!! We fish them mainly weightless, weedless texas rigged. Caught an 8.23 pounder 2 weekends ago on the 5 inch in bream colour.
My bass got active for the first time a few days ago, but they weren't committing to anything. The bowfin in my pond have been insane. I've been catching them on topwaters, craws, swimbaits, chatterbaits. Pretty much, everything I throw. I've never even heard of bowfin eating topwater lures lol I'm about to have to thin out the population of bowfin and gar in my pond.
Just purchased my kickin bait cast combo. Gotta long trip up to Ottawa Canada. Lol. Can’t wait. We can’t fish for bass up here till mid June. Sooooo I’m living my fishing life through you at the moment. Love your videos.
I went to this golf course pond and all you had to do was get on a texas rigged senko drop it down there and get hammered in at least 15 seconds the bass were about a pound each also
I go bank fishing once a week, carry 2 bait casters and 2 spinning rods, a box of tackle, a box of hard lures, tow boxes od assorted plastics, worms, creature baits, and my latest love tubes which is rockin for me.

O.K. Noah. You're a PROFESSIONAL fisherman. Let's get this correct. There were absolutely NO SENKO's in that YUM kit. All soft plastic stick baits are not SENKO's. There were 24 - 5" YUM Dingers, 12 - 4" YUM Dingers and 10 - YUM Christie Craws. That's a fantastic kit. I really love YUM baits for their value... and... they catch fish. My favorite is the YUM CrawBug in the 2 1/2" size. You should have put that black and blue craw back on and caught a big one with it to end on. Those were some of the prettiest bass I've ever seen. Great video, as per usual.
I like yum dingers for a heavier neko rig. I can make it stand up and "dance' across the bottom. For a light neko rig I prefer a strike king shimmey stick because it glides. For a weightless wacky I prefer an actual senko for the full death flutter effect.
Weird tip but sometimes I'll take a ned rig head and hook a senko wacky rig makes it a little weighted wacky rig may help may not I've got a few using it
@@dylanwilliams1195 Why? I want to see if they’re more inclined to bite the subtle vibration and the smaller profile. I think sometimes the jackhammer is just too obnoxious lol. I actually think the mini max will out perform the jackhammer on these smaller, more pressured ponds. Also, in terms of startup speed, I don’t see a difference in the two. I don’t see what is unfair about it.

Do you have any recommendations for me. I really like using a lipless crank bait and A spinner bait. My ph is 1 and a half pounder cause I only have one spot lol. Keep it up man. Your awesome!!!
Should’ve kept on fishing that bed. I got a bass on a bed twice one day. I was fishing at a river with my buddy, and we saw this huge pool around a ton of rocks, aka smallmouth territory. We saw this one on a bed and she was the biggest one. Me and my friend tried to catch her for like 2 hours, I finally hooked her and I tried to flip her up on the bank she bounced off of 2 rocks and cut my line on one of them. After that I proceeded to lose 2 more nice bass, I switched to a different soft plastic it was chartreuse and black. I casted and she swam off her bed to somewhere so I casted directly on her bed. She came back and looked at my bait for a solid 2 minutes, I looked away to say something to my buddy. And I looked back and my bait was gone, I didn’t feel a bite because my line wasn’t tight. I was crouched behind a rock so she wouldn’t see me. Anyway I hookset her and flipped her up on the bank this time. Took a quick picture took my hook and the other hook that broke off out of her mouth and released her.
If u think about it I don’t think fish fell pain bc when I hook a a fish they don’t freak out unless you set the hook but on the other hand I cough a frog with my lure and the frog freaked out it ate is the was jumping all over the place
