Thank you, thank you, thank you........I have been asking Lord Vishnu and the Adi-Yogi - Lord Shiva in my meditations, to assist me in my search for spiritual knowledge and seeking moksha, in order to further develop my soul evolution and I kept saying to them, that I would need to be born again, however, this time as a male monk, so that, I may pursue my desire to study all the Vedic literature and knowledge, which would take me another lifetime to complete, as there is so much to learn. I enjoy listening to this Swami because he interprets the Hindu scriptures, in such simple terms, it's expressed with such clarity, you just want to hear more. What a gift that is in itself indeed, for the thirsty spiritual seeker within.

I can believe that Shankara traveled in his "astral" body. Look, Padre Pio, an Italian Franciscan monk of the twentieth century, was documented to bi-locate - that is, to be in two places at once. Today, he's a canonized saint. So why couldn't the ninth century Shankara have done something similar? But like you said, it's the teachings that are important, not the stories. : D Trifecta is a single bet on who you think will win three designated races. The payoff, as you can imagine, is eye-wateringly huge. I'm in Louisville, KY, home of the Kentucky Derby, and I've thrown away a few bucks at Churchill Downs.
But Shiva or true self is beyond and within all bodies including Astral. But Shiva gets confused and identifies with astral or subtle or gross physical body due to ego. Samadhi or the state where the subject and object split disappears is the highest state. In this state, immanent Shiva is not limited to individual subtle or gross physical body
