    vlog is really put together well, and in a pleasing manner, most vlogs can get chaotic..., If you dont mind could you sahre how much did entry cost at the hotel tay house?

    • @AFestivalCalledLife
      @AFestivalCalledLife  Месяц назад

      Hey thank you so much means a lot to us 😊😊
      So entry is approximately 10,000 tenge per person and it’s for the whole day and it includes entry to all pools and baths and a personal locker.
      Do keep in mind that anything you purchase or rent will be extra (swimming costume , slippers , bath robes , towels,etc)
      So make sure to bring everything in your own , we didn’t and had to buy from them.
      Hope that helps😊

    Very well documented. Reminds me of my visit to szechenyi baths which also had 20+ indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and steam halls. Can't wait to visit Tau spa next month! Would you recommend 2 hours a good duration or does it require more time? You guys touched places which most Indians don't frequent.

    • @AFestivalCalledLife
      @AFestivalCalledLife  Месяц назад

      Thank you 😊, oh yes this is similar to the Budapest bath scene , 2 hours are good enough to chill at Tau spa , although you may feel like being here for longer , I would suggest finish in everything in your day and then get there by evening so you can chill for more time if you feel like…

    Great video and very well explained. We are planning to visit in Oct.
    I got almost all the info from your video and your reply on the comments. But I still have a doubt, from your stay/coffee shop, what was the location name you entered in the Yandex Go app to reach Ayusai?

    • @AFestivalCalledLife
      @AFestivalCalledLife  Месяц назад

      Hey , thank you so much glad it helped😊
      So search for Ayusai Visitor Centre and it’ll show you the location and bring you there directly.
      Also when you visit , you’ll have to pay an entry fee of 1000 tenge to bring your cab till the ayusai visitor centre ( it’s a fee to enter the ile alatau national park)

    Hi is there any other way to get to the city after finished renting the bike? I would be a solo traveler and quite scared to try hitchhiking

    • @AFestivalCalledLife
      @AFestivalCalledLife  Месяц назад

      Hey , Yes there are local cabs also at the ayusai visitor centre and they can drop you back to the city , only thing is they quote very high prices so do negotiate with them.
      But if I may, this was our first time hitchhiking too and it’s very common and safe in Kazakhstan , there are many families that come for picnics to the ile alatau national park so they will be happy to help a solo traveller like you…

    Hi, is child (4 year old) allowed during cycling?

    • @AFestivalCalledLife
      @AFestivalCalledLife  Месяц назад

      Honestly I think it’ll be difficult to cycle with a child , they will allow but one of you will have to strap the child to yourself and then cycle..
      So depending on how comfortable you are you can choose to do it

    and one more question if you don't mind :") how many hours we can rent the bike? because I think I want to spend long time in the lake

    • @AFestivalCalledLife
      @AFestivalCalledLife  Месяц назад +2

      Sure happy to help , so you can rent the bike for however long you want.
      They charge 15000 Kazakh tenge for 2 hours and every additional hour is approx 3000 tenge more.
      So we took 1 hour to ride up to the big Almaty lake , then spent an hour there and 1 hour to ride back to the ayusai visitor centre to return the bike.
      So in all we booked for 3 hours but you can always choose to stay for as long as you want and just pay the remaining money when you return.
      Another tip - go up early because it starts to get cold and dark soon , try starting the tour at 11am to get the most time at the lake.

    • @AFestivalCalledLife
      @AFestivalCalledLife  Месяц назад +1

      Hey , thank you so much…
      So firstly hitchhiking is very common in Kazakhstan and you’ll find most people willing to give you a lift, if not you can always find a local cab willing to take you at a higher price of course.
      Many many local families come for picnics to the ile alatau national park so many options to hitch a ride or local cab guys are always standing near the parking lot.
      Buses are not very frequent outside the city limits
      From ile alatau national park in 20 minutes drive will reach the first presidents park which is in the city of Almaty and then from there can choose to go by bus , yandex cab or walking
