  • The i360 on Brighton’s storied West Pier is unique: it’s the tallest structure in Sussex, it uses state-of-the-art cable car technology, and its 59 foot glass and steel pod is 10 times the size of the London Eye capsule.

Sorry but a real rising from the ashes like a Phoenix would have been the rebuilding the pier as it was originally done. The other although an engineering masterpiece is really an eyesore. Just like the London Eye and all the mega wheels that are around the world.

      Fernando TRA..
If your eyes are sore from looking at these attractions..
There is only one thing that you can do..
Close your eyes and keep them close and you won't
      see them anymore.😐🤗👍👍

Why not rebuild the pier-with replica buildings? For myself, I would rather stroll along that in the sea air, dine out, shop, and just sit and enjoy the view.

Because the funding for the project to restore it was withdrawn after the fire also its grade 1 listed so j cant just pull it down

I got a chance to visit Brighton in 1989 and I walked on that pier. It was a Sunday and everything was closed. Iconic history!

Brighton's answer to the London eye would have to take the form of a doughnut sliding up and down a pole though wouldn't it?!
I am an actual Brightonian who was born there at Brighton general by the way so I am allowed to take the piddle. ;-)
