I had Penix as the #3 QB in draft: 1. Caleb 2. Jayden Daniels 3. Penix. And that's not a slight at Penix. He's really good. I love the pick! I think the idea that one edge rusher could push this team to the Super Bowl is crazy. Let Penix sit for a year or two, then take us to the promised land.
Kirk ain't gonna be here for 3 years(38 years old) because after that 2nd year his money on his contract is no longer garenteed and that money can be used to resign Pitts, London, and possibly Bijan to extensions for Penix! That OL will probably be evaluated too this year as well to get it ready for MPJ to eventually takeover when the time comes!

Great point. After year two we’ll be able to save 35 million by getting rid of Kirk. Let’s hope Penix will be suited and ready.
