What is the power consumption, not power output, also for others info. Not only does it have the graphic eq., It also has pre set graphic settings on the remote control, remember this when adjusting the manual graphic
Great review, thanks for the upload. I purchased one for the bluetooth facility, and the tuner section. I wanted an amp with an equalizer, cos the cost here in England for a separate EQ is beyond belief. Cant buy a decent equalizer for under £100 here. Im using the Sunbuck as a pre amp to run a Denon dvd/cd player, and then into a Sony F210 as the power amp. The sound is awesome, and i can tweek the bass/treble at 3 different sections. 1, the Sunbucks built in equalizer. 2, The Sunbucks built in tone controls. 3, The Sony's built in tone controls. The music i listen to most is bass driven, and believe me there is more than enough in this set up. The added advantage of the Sony amp is the headphone jack, its a pity Sunbuck didn't put one in, and that is the only downside i can find. Anyway, for the price it punches above its weight for sure. Cost me just over £50 delivered, and it arrived within 3 days from Amazon. Thats around the same price as a well used and abused pre owned amp locally. Its a no brainer.
When first time power on this unit, is there any a quick loud sound emitted from speaker? When turn it off, is there similar a quick loud sound emitted from the speaker?
I'm assuming these cheap amps kind of all do the same thing. I didn't need anything powerful so I went to eBay and bought a Sunbuck AV-660BT. For that price, I'm not expecting greatness but after seeing your video, I'm looking forward to receiving it. Thanks for the review and some great advice.
The economics of Chinese manufacturing. They're very good at arriving at "kinda OK" for super, super cheap. This is different from the Japan of the 80s formula where they arrived at "Amazing, but 20% cheaper".
G'day sheila, i got one, was a bit suspicious what with the price being stupidly low, however, turned it on with nothing connected, wacked it up to full volume, full bass and treble, graphic up to top, with two nasty little 60watt phillips speakers, and nothing, not a hum or a hiss, i thought,' that's a good sign'. By the way, i found the same unit with at least seven different names, each one had subtle differences such as labelling, and quality of finish, even a stepped volume knob whereas mine is a smooth rotation. Some are different on the back too. I blue toothed my phone which is so crap its embarassing, and the sound was bloody awesome, i noticed you running the volume way up at three quarters, and i was running at a third, just moving it a couple of mm's up greatly increased the volume, seems to be optimum performance is best at about a third, with increased volume coming from the input volume of whatevers plugged in. I live in a nuclear fallout shelter and it shook the founds, most impressed.interestingly the microphone section is independent of the amp and graphic. i haven't tried inputs at back or usb or chip or tried 4 mics running at the same time but will at some point. Thus far, i am fkn impressed! Try, 'dub fx at goa', and play with the graphic you'll enjoy it.
Tech put some 4 ohm tweeters in my speakers without asking first so now I need to find a very inexpensive receiver that can handle 4 ohm speakers. My present receivers say to use 8 ohm only.
It was hard to tell from your audio, but it sounds like you have a ground loop between the computer and the amp. Turn the volume up with no audio. Unplug the cable. If the high frequency whine goes away, you have a ground loop. In that case, add a ground loop isolator between the amp and the computer. (A ground loop isolator is merely a transformer that provides galvanic isolation.)
Im looking at the bottom big amp bro but how many watts? You have same set up as i do. I run laptop to 2x subs wired together (one is powered) then sub to amp and speakers. The bottom amp you have also has a fan for cooling i think which is what i need as it will get hot!.
No I haven't mate but if I had to guess I think it would work ok everything else runs fine and mine still have not blown up yet .... If U get it and run it on 12v let us know how it works
I have been running mine off a 12V 15Ah Battery and its sounds fantastic as i have been running 2 x 250W 8 inch Pa Speakers from the amplifier and the amplifier has plenty of power too.
I run 2x 15" but there active, running a low pass filter, so they are very good subs , personally I don't think this would drive thous no were near enugh
Just got one and I have 2 x times 200 watt speakers on it and good speaker wire and can only turn it up to about 45% before my speakers distort, my whole room shakes with the base under that reckoning I would say it's doing about 500 watt
Yeah it's definitely not a top end amp by any means but it is reflected in the price the newest one ( the top on ) was under $60Au .. I would recommend them for computer tv anything U would use a Logitech for ... If needed a amp for listning to MP3, turntable, mixing, hi fidelity audio I would opt for a higher quality 2nd hand amp ... Cheers gymjunnky1@gmail.com
@@Gymjunnky You're right, for a choir group setup, I think 55watts is not enough. I know you are not paid to review these things, but if you are thinking of buying another one, why not try another brand? Not trying to defend Chinesium, but from what you describe it sounds like an easy fix, unsolder the volume knob (potentiometer) and buy another one with the matching resistance (Ohms) and solder it in it's place, it just sounds like the volume pot has burned out.
I think it's about 50w RMS total ... I have got a watt meter on its way so I can give everyone a much closer number in the next week . I had one here but can't find it ... Tipical lol
G'day mate... Here in Indonesia we have similar amplifier under the name of FLECO AV-MP326BT, with the same design, same dimension and all...😂 kinda suspicious...😁
