  • While on our 30 day National Park trips from Arizona to Yellowstone we took a tour with Kens Tours of Lower Antelope Canyon. At first we we actually were going to skip seeing the Canyon because now they are all guided tours and masks are required. From the reviews I also felt like we were also late on scheduling it and everything would be booked.
However, I was completely wrong. I was able to book a guided tour with Kens tours and it was absolutely amazing. There were only 2 other people in our group. The tour was not rushed and we got some amazing photos. The guide even showed us the great photo spots and took photos of our family. It was pricey for tickets but it was very much worth it.
A few tips….. We booked a 9:30 tour during September and the sun lighting inside was perfect. It’s cooler inside the canyon but not cold.
There is a little hike to the entrance but I felt it was really easy. There are some very steep stairs in and out of the slot.
I recommend wearing good Hiking shoes. It’s much easier walking in the sandy uneven floor.
They don’t allow pets of course, no bags unless it is clear. I was able to purchase one at the gift shop for our water. Essentially you only are allowed to take water and a camera with you.

I just in the lower antelope canyon, but the tour guide had to rush me out because I was terrified, a few other people also had to be rushed out because of a bathroom emergency.

Hello, you said you are a guide, I like to ask you a question. Do you recommend using flash on my camera or not inside the lower antelope canyon. I have a family trip coming in October.

I think the tour guide you had is the one I had, and if you don't mind me asking, how much is the permit to video record the tour?

Looks like a nice tour but I certainly wouldn't want to be wearing mask outdoors in the heat.

lol they didn’t have to go. It was a choice. Native Americans were more likely to die of covid. Heaven forbid they try to protect themselves.
