thank so much you for this! trying to work around last owners wiring "creativity". headache bruh. but this is ace. thanks. now if i could just get the drivers side window to go down...
@@RiggsGarage if only! changed the register so motor is fresh, still nothing. ordered a "working" og switch from ebay, lol not only did the driver not work but one rear didnt go. so checked wire from battery to motor from motor to switch- each and every connection- and its the switch. haha back to square one!
well... all fixes are safe it done correctly ... anyway, thanks. This gave me an idea to look into my Civic Hybrid.... will try to wriggle up/down a few times and see if the intermitent blackout goes away.
My 98 Honda Civic's dimmer is not working so I replaced the dimmer with a used one I bought but it is still not working so I wondered if it may be a fuse what do you think
@@RiggsGarage ok I’ve been doing some diagnostics my car makes the beeping noise to remind me my lights are on but still no back light I also bought a crv manual cluster and I noticed that the gauges light up but the top two light bulbs on top of the gauge don’t lights up the crv cluster orange gauges for rpm and speed light up but I can berly see them at night
Thank you I was about to buy a new switch this saved me so much!!!

Ooof. Creative wiring from previous owner no bueno. Might be able to get that driver window down with a paperclip too lol

haha thank you

That's good to hear!
Any idea why my front headlights flicker/pulsate really bad? I have a 2000 civic. Keeps getting worst. Any help would be appreciated!
Wiggle the connector that is on the headlight, if the headlights stop flickering splice in a new connector.

Try this bypass as a diagnosis test. If this makes the gauge lights work, definitely not a fuse.
So my hvac lights work on my 96 ek.
But my Guage lights don't work lol
Hey, can you do one for 2002 honda civic. My instrument panel light doesn't work but the odometer light works. And there is no separate dimmer switch.
Thanks for watching! I don't have a Honda of that generation unfortunately, check fuses and bulbs 👍
Mine ej8 doesnt have dimmer regulator, do you know how i can fix it?
I'm not familiar with that, sorry
Worked great
Good to hear
Going to see if this works!
Easy fix! Wow you saved me so much trouble, thanks to you I literally fixed mine with a paper clip and electrical tape haha. Fixed it in 5 mins
Perfect! Mine has been in place for a very long time, all good. Thanks for watching
We tried a different switch off an integra (same exact dimmer switch). Didn't solve the issue unfortunately
Interesting. I wonder if it was worn out too? Did you try jumping it like I did in the video?
This didn’t work I checked the fuse even bought another cluster
Sounds like you have other issues to diagnose. If you have power to the switch, this works

Tried this and it worked for 2 seconds and blew the fuse immediately after
Is it an eg Civic?

Same 90 civic didn’t work
