Another amazing lesson! I'm a native American English speaker and I really enjoy watching how you and Kevin break down our language. I didn't know that these rules about "t" existed. This is great! Keep up the good work!
Finally there is somebody who corrects Marina, who is originally from Russian speaking country, most of her life she lived in Russia surrounded by Russian people, she has Russian husband and now she is teaching us how to speak real American language lol sometimes even for money 😀
For a Russian her surname is really strange, and I hope with my whole heart that this mistake of nature doesn't originate from my country 😀
@@sophyagolubeva7398 , she has a Ukranian surname
@@ВероникаНика-щ8ы does it mean what we all think it means?)
@@ЧимитЦыренжапов-е4и , I don't understand what you think. I never said anything insulting by my comment, did I ? I heard, Liza is from Ukraine. And Marina must be Ukranian who comes from Russia. And I have no idea what you think, sorry.
@@cincominutosdeespañol Are all non-native English teachers making silly mistakes like her,yet claiming they would teach real American English?
Marina Mogilko is the endless source of mistakes and content. Glad it helps real teachers.
I used to watch Marina's video just for learning native American English.....But whenever I started watching yours,I didn't watch any of other videos ❤️
@@lukebauer1686 We don't want to be entertained, we want to learn correct english.
@@lukebauer1686 Learners will not be understood very well if they make constant mistakes like Marina.
@@lukebauer1686I'm not here to get entertained by Marina's cringeworthy video presentation and many basic mistakes she makes. If you like videos, great for you.Keep watching and enjoying her cringe.
@@lukebauer1686 If you hear Liza saying "Let's DAKE a closer look." I highly recommend relistening the video. 😃 0:40
Plus, If their videos are dry and lifeless for you, stop watching them! GOOD LUCK!
Thanks to both Lisa and Marina. If Marina didn't do tht mistakes,I wouldn't know n care about the rules of letter T. Personally, that's one of the reasons why I prefer learning English from the native speakers.
Ironically, it is often non-native speakers that are more aware of little differences like these, or are at least better able to explain it. As far as I can tell, although she is very good, Liza is not a native speaker either.
If Mariana was not Russian you would not see those people built a whole episode based on someone’s else work, at least Mariana speaks two whole different languages fluently !!!! though she has not born and raised up in any English speaking countries!
@@XiaoPings 🤣👍🤭🤦♂️

@@lalaland9429 No matter how many languages Marina speaks, it doesn’t give her the right to teach English because she is not a real teacher and she cannot teach, and she makes so many mistakes it’s unbelievable! Why in the world she assumed that she can reach the incorrect English language, she’s pure scam!
You are the most important American standard accent teacher on RUclips.
Thank You ma'am!
Thanks for responding! Ma'am
I think Rachel’s English is the best 😅
This lesson helps so much foreigners who want to speak american English. Thanks a lot!👏🏻
Please keep on making such videos! They are very helpful! Thank you 🥰
You deserve more than 1 million subscribers. Don’t worry you guys .. pretty soon. I love your videos.
Amazing video! You explained everything in a clear and easy way! You are very didactic! I’d love have you as my English teacher
Guys, the teacher's name is LIZA, not Lisa))) LIZA, thank you for teaching us these rules, I have never heard of them, nobody teaches like you - in a gentle way and very scrupulous. I adore you!!
Thanks a lot! Many people explain how to pronounce a flap t, but they don't really mention what you've just pointed out. It's also not safe to watch non- native😂 "teachers".
It's very nice learning with Liza ! I love it ! 🤗
As a Brazilian, and Portuguese native speaker, for me one of the hardest sounds to make in English is T, because it can be pronounced in some many ways. So, Lisa, you’ve helped me a lot with this video! Thank you very much, and please don’t stop making videos like this!
@@b213videoz Brazilian here and I clicked this comment to say it when I found your reply ahah… A huge shout out!
@Elena Salvatore
You can always find an Irish or Scottish tutor. It’s not an obsession. For many people living in the USA or working with Americans it’s a necessity. It’s not only you learn how to pronounce it right (American way) but also to understand what another person is actually saying. You can easily find examples of the same word pronounced by people from different regions and it’s not always obvious what they are saying. As for the linguamarina - she has a course that you’re paying for, it’s not free. So one may assume that she is actually qualified to teach. If she weren’t pretending as a pro, nobody would care. It is fraud what she’s doing. Trump or any other American president or other public figure isn’t a good example of a qualified esl teacher. Would you trust a math teacher who makes mistakes in math?
I always wondered why Italy with d and Italian is with t , thank u so much !
It’s very useful. Thank you Lisa❤️
It becomes my favorite youtube channel... Thank you for giving us the correct English lessons. I'm grateful
Keep up the good job guys on warning others about those who spread wrong English 👌
Thanks it's very useful video. I think a lot of English learners make the same mistakes may we need lot of practice to make a differentiate between t sound and d sound of the letter t.
Thank you, Lisa! Another wonderful English phonetics is well explained! Awesome!
Why don't you explain the pronunciation rules without making references to Marina?
More pronunciation for the next videos please!! Thanks so much miss I love the way you speak slow and clean 🙏
All of your videos are so helpful and simply excellent.
Thanks Liza for your kind explanation. I've learned a lot from your lesson.
Definedly you should have way more subscribers, thak you very much for those excellent lesssons.
@@cincominutosdeespañol They doesn't make fun, they say the reality about someone who teaches incorrectly, the truth is painful.

Thanks Liza! I love ur videos very much!🇦🇿
You are a great teacher. Keep posting.
Perfectly explanation. Thanks for your enthusiasm to help people enhance English.
Thank you very much, no one had ever explained this to me, from now on I will pronounce it well.
Mis respetos para ellos en su explicación y real pronunciación del Inglés Americano. Si en verdad quieres aprender más, te invito a ver al Master en Pronunciación británico Elliot de ETJ quien es definitivamente otro NIVEL en enseñanza.
Youre are brilliant
Clear explaination Lisa Thanks again for such an awesome vdo
Good Job! I leaned the rule tten, tton! Is a big difference. Because the most people speak t flat
OMG I had never seen these rules being explained, thanks a lot, but on the other hand I've studied English with some native American teachers and many of them didn't know or couldn't explain these rules, in fact it doesn't follow that native teachers will know all these grammar rules just because they are American. This is the first time I've seen this
😊. Thank you for a clear explanation!
I appreciated the explanation. Very useful. Excellent video !!
This is pure gold
Thanks for teaching us when to use the flap T!
Thank you Liza. Very useful.
😮 excellent thanks from Colombia
Amazing! Please make more videos on accent reduction. Thank you!
Awesome!❤
O M G! Your videos are going to be my top priorities now to improve my English.
How can we differentiate between a stressed and not stressed syllable?
What about ht, nt, nd, w, l? Can I use the flap t and d on these? And what about a sentence “what do you do”? Can I say “Whada ye Do”?
exists
Helpful vídeo as usual, thank you so much
Sooooo useful!!! Thank you, guys! Love you!
Thank you Lisa! I bet ya, Marina will be watching this video with a sour face
Comment savoir si le syllabe est stressed or not ? Thank you
I think it is natural and easier to pronounce the words the way Lisa explained .
Many thanks for such amazing lessons!
It was an informative and wonderful video. I do love Marina, her videos, lessons, and even I admire her. Definitely, I learn from both of you. Thank you
Hi Liza, I've heard about "Glottal Stop, Glottal T and Stop T) is there any difference between them? in which category, words like "important, mountain, fountain, certain, Britain..." do you have an exhaustive list of these words? thanks
Thank you very much for this video
Thank you, Lisa, for explaining this important rule. But I agree with those commentators who thank Maria Mogilko for her mistakes...
High skill of teaching, thanks a lot. that was pretty handy.
Thanks you a lot ❤️😘

I have never bean to italy, but I have eaten idli many times.
It was definitely valuable to know 👍 Thanks a lot.
Why they never teach us this in English classes!😮
It’s outstanding! I enjoyed it❤❤
You're a blessing 🙏
Thank you very much! Could you clarify one moment from the video, please? The word "articulate " - you pronounces the second "t" - /t/. But , as far as I understood, it should be /d/. Or it doesn't work because the last vowel is letter which doesn't give any sound?
That's right, the rule doesn't apply at the end of the word when there is the so-called "silent e"
Thanks teacher
Some American speakers may use the voiceless apico-alveolar tap [ɾ̥] for obvious reasons.
Thanks alot!
Thanks Liza.

Oh what a useful lesson! I've sibscribed. I also notice the Word dough is pronounced differently with tough 😲 though they are spelt the same. Why does it happen?
Is it correct to stress last T in Potatoes for British pronunciation?
Понятно )) но не понятно почему.
Приходится переводить в целом текст что говорит девушка. О грамматике не успеваю даже подумать. На русском можно дублировать ?
Thanks boss
Each time I try to say WATER with my spanish D, that is WADER instead of WATER I just end up saying WARER with my spanish R. I don't know why it is so.
