    HOLY COW! On my Yume Y11+, Ive hit 50 or close to it few times and I was scared for my life. 45 mph felt like 120... 65+ would feel like going 140 on a car lol. Great job and thank you for the wonderful video, risking a whole lot for the viewers. Stay safe brother, little one is coming!

      45 is also crazy fast. how stable is the y11+ at that speed? is there stem wobble? was thinking about getting that scooter. thanks

    • @koreanational
      @koreanational 10 месяцев назад +2

      Never had any wobble. It is very stable. Yume pays tax for you if you are buying it in US. I still believe its the best 60v 6000w scooter for the money. However there are scooters with bigger tires (14”) and a 72v 8000w for few hundred dollars more. But it probably won’t have Yume’s customer service. Yume has been very good on support whenever I had a problem or a question. Great build quality. I don’t think the other similar scooters on amazon or alibaba has the same quality.

      I have a Zsnake (which seems like a bad idea now seeing as they don't seem to be in business anymore) they claim 52mph but I haven't gotten over 45, have used a gps speedo to check and it seems fairly accurate at least. and it's sketchy as hell at those speeds but it's more of an offroad scooter in the first place, very loud compared to this video, and now very squeaky too from the suspension and slight brake rotor rub

    First of all.. respect for your safety gear!!!🤩👏👏
    From 65 miles and up, every mile is a progress👌 and the filling is like a street bike with 120 miles!!🙀🤯
    Scooters don't have aerodynamic so to hit maximum top speed must "win" the air with 2 ways..
    1 way : Get low as much you can, to also scooter by controlled.
    2 way : Make your body an "arrow" as front you can your head and rear foot to footrest at 45° (like a 100 meter runner in start)... So you become a racing spoiler for your scooter!
    With the 2 way i make top speed runs with my scooter..! 😉 Is also more safety, because all your weight is on rear foot and your hands hold stable the scooter!!
    Happy New Year guys!! Wish you full of health, luck and creativity 2024..!!!🙋🥰

      The Wolf King GTR does not get to true 65 mph it's an advertised/marketing speed. Even a lot of the GPS app deliberately do not show true speed especially at higher speeds as they read higher for customer attraction. The scooter is under 60 real mph.

    • @benprotzmann
      @benprotzmann 10 месяцев назад +1

      Don't attempt to do high speeds with the Teverun 7260R. The rake angle points behind the front motor axis, putting the wheel too far forward, which is inherently unstable and proven unstable, even at 45mph. That is why Teverun now ships this scooter with dual dampers on both sides trying to mitigate the problem. It helps, but its not a fix, and steering is too hard at lower speeds. Teverun owners have reversed the front wheel and assembly to get the wheel behind the stem angle, looking like the Nami Blast, and it's 100% more stable, tested. I originally ordered a 7260R because of it's beauty, size, speed and range (SK battery) ... until I learned about this design flaw. I then had my dealer switched me to an Inmotion RS, my second choice, and I'm extremely happy. Once Teverun redesigns the 7260R, I'll be there. You can read all about the issue on the FB Teverun 7260R group.

  • @benprotzmann
    @benprotzmann 10 месяцев назад +3

    Love the scooter. I know the feeling where speed heightens your senses, it's a nice rush.
    I ride an Inmotion RS, I currently have the handlebars at about 2 inches above my belly button which is about 42". Probably more so for comfort, but I'm not an experienced rider yet.
    The RS is a new scooter for me with only 16 miles on it now, and it's cold in Long Island so I don't rip it too hard, I've been cruising at 35-45mph waiting for the warmer weather. My max at one point was ripping to 55mph on a long straight away, only for about 5 seconds. The rush was real.
    My question is, do you find it more stable with the handlebars lower? I see the Roadster's handlebars at around your hips, below the bellybutton. Is this better for stability & control overall? or was it only for this top speed quest where you wanted to tuck lower?
    At what handlebar height do you feel is best for overall control, especially if I want to cruise at higher speeds sometimes on faster roads in my journey. From your experience, is slightly lower, near the hips ... or slightly higher at bellybutton better? ... or maybe where I'm at, 2 inches above the bellybutton? I'm sure I'll find my comfort zone, but I'd love to know what you've learned in your experience.
    Thanks guys! Great channel.

      This is a very good question. Most scooters don't have adjustable stems, so it's important to know before buying. Replace the battery pack with a custom-built battery pack, Samsung 40T cells would be best. And an external battery pack and mount it on the front of the scooter for more power and range. Battery makes the biggest difference than motor.

  • @russellzauner

    If they would simply turn the front suspension around you wouldn't need the stabilizer because the wobbles would be self resolving as you're now a *trailing* link (see the Trust Message MTB forks, out of production). TLDR; your front wheel is technically *dragging* so the arm length harmonics don't exist as a matter of practicality. If your wheel is badly crooked, dented, out of balance, or otherwise not trued in any axis, of course you're going to have vibration/wobble issues. But if your ride is in good repair and tuning, then theoretically that would design a big chunk of the instability out of the front end as well as open up options for offset steering axis that might be advantageous by varying the length and ratio of the front end arms to each other producing virtual steering head angles without moving the actual handlebar axis.

    No doubt racing improves the breed. Lots of innovation & advances for auto/MCs came from racing. That said, short of exponential increases in power, speed is all about aero. I know you guys already bought your suits but incase there's more $$$ in the budget, look into a 1 pce Aerostitch Roadcrafter suit. Best protect short of leathers & super easy to put on/off. Great for Colorado cold as well

    the arms from the deck to the bars needs to be Aerodynamic not flat that is drag plus if in a arrow shape it will also cut the drag off the rider by splitting air How many Jets have a flat plate for a nose cone ?? lol

    Just FYI for the record to be valid you have to ride both ways and then make an average out of both top speeds. This takes care of wind and incline on the track.

    If the company that makes that brand scooter could make some super light wieght V-Shap wind shield mounted on the front im sure youd be able to get that last 6mph in there to reach the 80 mph goal & then some maybe even reach 90 mph, when im going my max at 45 mph on my Treverun fighter-11 i can really feel my whole 230 lbs body get the wind drag slowing me down. Wind drag is a big problem because your standing up straight.😌😌 But at least you tied your old speed record. 👍👍🤸🤸🤸

    You should try the ballot stance. It is the pose that I’ve found to have the least drag in a powered scooter.
    Back in the day before these were mainstream. We had the Blades. We raced them and there is one pose that makes a higher top speed.

    PMTs slow scooters a bit, wouldn't be surprised if that contributed. I lost 3-4mph on my burn e max and I've confirmed that with other people with the same scooter. I imagine it could be the same situation on this one.

The only time i get a rush is doing a wheelie at 110+mph on a supermoto
