"ginobili and tony parker will never win gold medal because of USA" ahhh.... No Reggie, Ginobili already won gold medal and eliminated USA with lebron, melo, AI, Duncan, etc.
I love Reggie Miller. First because he was loyal to one small market team his whole career. But he's also such a good dude, the way he talks. I don't want to hear about him not being a good dude on the court. What comes out of his mouth trumps all that. I wish more players had his attitude during and after their playing careers. I got to watch him play live at the Fieldhouse a few times, once in the playoffs even. Never got to see him at Market Square though.
vincentrich Not anymore after 2004 and the lessons learnt I would add. It's not like the team was made out of scrubs. LBJ, Melo, Duncan, Iverson, Wade, Okafor, Stoudemire, Marbury, Marion, Odom, Jefferson, Boozer. But the preparation was poor and some of the players weren't in agreement with the coach. And yeah, you could have had even better players, but I believe mainly it was a question of failing to build a cohesive team.
ntnnot It isn't about lack of talent, it's about the lack of shooters to space the floor and Iverson and Marbury in ONE BACKCOURT. Perfect formula for Team USA to not succeed in the international stage.
Prime Reggie Millie’s in this era would average 35 points a game lol. No one man cloud out pace him off the ball and his shot was magic. He played in a conservative era where he would be benched for volume shooting. Same for Ray Allen.
+TheDCGuitar13 ive seen lots of reggie you gone tell me he better than bron? Ofcourse hes not n bron has never averaged 35 but ok lets bring up scorers like melo n kd neither have averaged 35 all ten times better than reggie

So, I looked through the comments and I have to ask; is NO ONE going to point out that when Reggie said "I'll mess around and get a triple double", he was referencing Cube's song "Today was a Good Day"??
Reggie is my all time favorite athlete, he got Indy through some hard years sports wise. The Colts were awful in the 80s and the Pacers were usually pretty bad before he got there. Those early 90s Pacer teams are my favorite NBA memories.
My all-time fave right there. Total class, just not on the court for opposition fans. The maestro even annoyed Jordan enough to choke him. Lmao the master, all-time best
Reggie is such a clown. Love this dude. Hes the type of guy where you love to be with you on the team but will make your head hot real quick if he was on the other team.
Pretty inspirational dude that age looking healthy. Interesting if he trains much or just diet and good healthy lifestyle. Always recall Reggie’s leg kick on release lol
lol " by your 3rd shot you'd be tired and you would have already gone to your best moves. now what are you gonna do?" real talk! reggie keeping it real. its hard to score against someone in the NBA in a 1 on 1 at their age at least.
Reggie is a legend. Most cats don’t know that guys like Steph and Ray Allen modeled their off ball movements from Reggie. Reggie was way ahead of his time. If Reggie was in his prime today, he’d be unstoppable.

you are on crack bud, Tmac is forgotten because he played in the early 2000s and the nba was not very popular in those days compared to now. Look at his stats and its easy to put tmac over him, not to mention he is significantly bigger then him
..."batting a buck 65". MJ was *batting* .165 in baseball. ie, Reggie was saying that since Jordan was no longer in the picture it was fair game to rock his shoes.
The most efficient scorer in history if I’m not mistaken. Dude could take 17 shots and average 25 easily if he wanted. On a team that was built around passing. And playing sloooooooooooow. So funny. Even the worst NBA defenders are better than 99% of all basketball players. Especially defensively. Even a 6’7” stud at the park would have trouble getting open or a shot off. A good shot. So when you see guys like Stockton, Strickland, Price, Kevin Johnson, Tony Parker score in the paint, in the era of BIGS! those guys are so good! Parker led the league with scoring in the paint for a couple of years. As a 6’2” point guard!

"Heysteel" said Reggie had huge parties and when he would bring out the cocaine, he would have it in Tupperware and other NBA players blew him so much shit for being trailer park with the cocaine in trailer park shit.
Diego Paguia Olajuwon, Isiah, David Robinson, Pippen, Magic,Jordan and some other players from the 80's and 90's would still be dominant today in my opinion but i hear you. Today's players are borderline bionic

Diego Paguia i agree but i'm ok with the rule changes. I remember the NBA was looking more like rugby than basketball when the Knicks and Heat were in the playoffs in the late 90's. I prefer today's game than those 82-75 scores i was seeing. But today's NBA could stand to be a little edgier, it will get there i'm sure. These younger players who are all buddy buddy just need a couple playoff battles to start getting sour on each other.
I still think at 51 , Reggie could play in the NBA. The league now is soo soft that a shooter has it easy. I bet Reggie could give any team in the NBA at least 5 or 10 minutes a night.
Man today's game is so soft. all Reggie would have to do is be a spot up shooter on a team who has a superstar Point guard. Once the point guard drives to the hole Reggie will be open. Reggie was a beast in the 90s. Heart of a killer. I miss those pacers vs bulls and pacers vs knicks series. I miss the 90s.
Not just a beast but he STAYED in Indy when he could have gone to New York or some other big market to chase a championship.
Jason Allen He could of teamed up with Jordan in Miami and won not one, not two, not three, not four, not five but six championships.
Reggie Miller is one of those people I just like to listen to. He is honest, respectful, confident, and has fun.
Its hard asf to believe reggie used to be a ultimate trash talker he look like a nice dude
tyrek popper lol yeah and the only reason he was an ultimate trash talker because of his sister.
lol
I believe it, I was a Knicks fan, ha ha.
I guess losing to a girl for 10 years will do that to a boy.
gullintanni his sister was that good she was no "girl"

for real he still looks 25
no junk food!... no drugs and no alcohol either!....think you gonna be at that age when you are 51 without those 3 things.
People forget Reggie was also military.
His sister cheryl also who was a great BB player in her own right. Good ass genetics.
He always looked like he was in his 50s during his playing days
I miss watching Reggie dropping 3s, but its nice to see him here dropping knowledge. I'm still shaking my head that he's 51 here.
Beyond being a great basketball player, Reggie is a very interesting personality. His enthusiasm pervades everything he does and says.
Reggie would be perfect for the 3 on 3 league, he'd just stand at the 4 point circles jacking up quads.
Reggie is the man. Growing up in the 80s/90s I would’ve NEVER thought that he’d be so likable lol
Reggie is very entertaining. I wish we could see more interviews that focus on him.
