Glad you're unharmed. My Tuareg is setup similarly to yours. I had very similar damage to the left side of my bike while on the Arizona BDR last fall. My radiator had a pretty significant bend in it, like yours, but to the other side, where it also destroyed one of the fans. But it never leaked, or even acted like it was affected in any way. Wasn't outrageously expensive to replace either. Crash bars had to be completely replaced, but they did their job perfectly. They were significantly more expensive than a new radiator.
I'm sorry for your damage...but so glad your experience was a pretty good one as well!!! I mean, a more fragile radiator would have cracked and left us stranded. Keep riding, my friend!!!
Hi Dylan!!! It's great to hear from you, my friend. I didn't know you played drums. New sub from me! 🙂 I'm looking forward to coming back down and getting everything put back together with you guys once the parts come in. Tell everyone I said Hi!!!
Considering the speed I was going, I would be having knee replacement surgery if it wasn't for the protection it provided. And my radiator would have had a huge hole ripped in it ...leaving me stranded on the roadside. Considering I didn't have a scratch, and I'm still riding the bike, I'm VERY happy with the protection it gave me!
Siento mucho el golpe, espero que estés bien. El vídeo es "un canto de alabanza a outback motortek", estarán encantados contigo. Sin duda hay otras opciones y entiendo que hay un interés. A seguir rodando.

From the damages that I can see, the protection did not work properly !!!
