This game can't be played in Free to play mode. Without paying, you can only focus on 1 or 2 heroes. Which is useless when in the map all free 2 play players has left the game, it remains only pay2win players.
In my current server, Gen 3 arrives next month, and there are no F2P players with Gen 2 4-star heroes. All F2P players (i.e. without the Natalia hero) only use Epic and Molly heroes in Arena. Need more proof? :)
You will only scrape the floors if you go pure f2p.. you cant... you need to spend at least $5 to $20 a week to be able to keep up and do decent.. thats the nature of this game.
Just saying, you already know this. In all the rallies, Reina has the most kills. I saw in every rally in the reports she always has kills in the thousands while other heroes in the same rally like Alonso have 8.
So in about 30 days we will get gen 5 heroes. My line up right now is molly, sergey and alonso (molly and sergey are 5 star and alonso is 4 star and need another 500 shards to fully upgrade him). Right now i have 500 legendary shards and 200k gems and want to upgrade hector as soon as possible. What do i do with my marksmen since i think Alonso is not good enough. Should i consider upgrading him or going for a good gen 6 hero? And when should i get rid of molly? (I am a player who spends money in an event, so like €15 a month max. And am vip 9 btw)
And should I consider doing anything with the vip level? (I just did the math and if I spend 20k gems each week on the vip level it will take me 298 weeks. That is over 5.7 years💀)
Can you go over gear? And how to prioritize it. I’ve been trying to give my top 9 heros all gold armor and I’m on the verge of entering season 5 and I see a lot of your higher heros don’t wear any gear at all. This is the point where i decided to quit the game. The money investment is massive, and the game kind of forced you to invest on the newer gen heroes in order to compete with the rest. I saw the pattern, so i dare not invest anymore on the game. This is only on the heroes, we havent talk about the buildings (FC3+), the chief gears and charms, the events !!! 😂😂 yea.. no.. enough 😂😂 i have had my fun... but no more

@VICTORY_001s the advantage of a 5 star is that extra you get on the skills. If you distribute, you'll have two weak ish ones. I'd aim to focus on your weakest places, if that means getting them to three star for that extra edge in stats then that's going to help
I just recently got alonso filly flint and just unlocked jeronimo with vip7, should i just not waste my shards and wait til the next gen, but keep leveling them up?
You can buy VIP in the shop for 19 diamonds or u can use diamons and buy over time. That's what I did to get to level 8. Getting to level 9 vip is taking quite some time @@jackb2164

It is likely not realistic with VIP unless you're spending. Shard saving is a good plan and will work out.
Id say get all lucky wheel heroes maxed. Theyre easy to do so

Depends on server age, but its easily 3k

How much did you spend to get vip7? I've been considering spending up to that my server is only like 5 days old and this is my first play through
one thing to note is that you eventually will get Flint shards from the intel missions. it's not enough to get him to 5 stars but it's a good amount.
