여름이라 그런지 시원~한 수박 생각이 많이 나는 것 같아요~
그래서 요새 수박을 주제로 한 요리를 많이 만드네요 ㅋㅋㅋ
이번엔 수박을 쏙 닮은 수박 설기떡을 만들어봤어요~*
저는 마트에서 쉽게 구할 수 있는 건식 쌀가루를 사용했어요~
습식 쌀가루는 방앗간에서 구할 수 있어서 건식 쌀가루를 사용했는데,
둘 다 장단점이 확실하게 있어요~
간략하게 말하자면,
건식 쌀가루는 보관과 유통이 쉬운데 반해, 떡을 만들면 쉽게 건조해지고
습식 쌀가루는 보관과 유통이 어려운 대신, 떡을 만들면 식어도 오랫동안 마르지 않고
맛도 더 좋다고 해요 ^^
떡을 만들 때는 '물주기'라는 과정이 정말 중요한데요~
소금을 녹인 물을 조금씩 붓고 손으로 가루를 비벼
가루 속에 수분을 골고루 주는 거에요~
같은 건식 쌀가루라도 사용하시는 쌀가루 속 수분이 어느 정도이냐에 따라서
들어가는 물의 양이 조금씩 달라져요~
영상을 보시면 쉽게 '물주는 방법'과 어느 정도가 적당한지 '확인하는 방법'을
아실 수 있으실 거에요 ^^
저도 떡전문은 아니지만 이 방법으로 한번도 실패 없는 떡만들기를 했답니다~
그리고 떡에 넣을 물에 레진과 식용색소를 풀때, 내 생각보다 더 진~하게 내야
가루와 섞었을때 원하시는 색을 내실 수 있을거에요 ~
참! 저는 일반 설기 맛 말고 떡에 맛을 내고 싶어서 딸기레진과 메론 레진을 넣었는데,
딸기 맛과 메론 맛이 많이 나진 않았답니다. 참고해주세요 ^^

in Indonesia there is a cake that is similar to this cake. The name is "putu bambu". Putu bambu have green color with brown sugar filling, it shape like a small tube because it is shaped using bamboo, that's why the cake name is "putu bambu". Bamboo = bambu (Indonesia language)

The translation is correct is in the subtitles now😃 but yes, the Korean word must be a bit of Konglish because it's just 레진 (reh-jin). The person who wrote in the subtitles obviously assumed that since it was an English word the meaning must be the same, but it's not🙈 I wonder what the origin is of the word being used in this way?
