Just confirming this will reset even a online Microsoft account password account as administrator? Bought a second hand pc and it’s password is linked to a Microsoft account and I can’t get hold of the seller 😤
you can use Hiren's boot cd to bypass the online account, reset the local administrator then use it to login then remove the online account that is connected to the pc. You cannot reset the online account because this account is used by the user that previously owned your laptop, but you can remove that account just after you bypass the login, then enabling the local administrator.

You don't know how hard I've cracked my brain to remember my password on my old computer, I tried to follow every other tutorial but no dice, I even watched your other video without USB but didn't trust myself to remember to go back in and rename the files so went with the usb, and it was so simple! For the pepole without usb u need to make a partion get hirens boot cd pe then get ubiversal usb instler choose select all disks choose ur partion and choose windows 10 installer and boot it up

Still works, you are a life saver. I swear windows update fubar’d my login. I literally updated last night and found it weird it didn’t ask me to log in when it restarted, went right to my desktop.

There was another software which I forget but it can lets us see windows password (tested in xp and 7)
Plus I like previous version of boot CD which comes with kon boot

Then i rebooted again to win pe, trying again to change password and then "NTPWEdit sent me warning:" password not changed! Try using BLANK password "..i need some help with this please..

Hi i am stuck on safe mode and this doesnt work for me. When I try to boot from my usb it says System doesnt recognize my usb. Pls help I tried booting up on safe mode because I was tryna fix my keyboard however when it restarted it asked for my Password which I forgot instead of a PIN which I usually use. Is there any way for me to crack it up? Thanks
try going to the BIOS and changing the boot media amigo.
Torogi Pro I found a way. My laptop boots on a UEFI settings I chaged it to BIOS and made the rufus for BIOS and it worked. Thanks so much though

In the NTPWEdit 0.7 (64 bit) there are no users listed. when I open Path to SAM file I get the message WARNING! Windos System on selected drive seems to be HIBERNATED. Modifying data on this drive could be dangerous. Windown System may not boot properly after modification, all changes may be lost of filesytem may become corrupted.
Please EXIT program and properly REBOOT HOST WINDOWS SYSTEM.
Then use 'Restart' to avoid hibernation
(don't use 'Shutdown' or 'Power off' commands).
