The comedy really hit in this one, I can imagine this being a super fun show to poke fun at trashy harem tropes

Honestly one of my favorite ED songs this season tbh, although Makeine is a strong contender. I think the ED song lining up with the 'harem' saying things is really charming.
1:47 The subtitles you were using got this wrong, what Rin said was literally “It’s like the beginning of a story.” It’s not a title.
I don’t blame anime watchers for being a little weirded out that we jump straight to Rin liking Eiji. In the manga the first chapter was actually the segment after the OP where Rin first acts out the harem archetypes. Their first meeting (the part before the OP) is a flashback in the manga, a bit down the line. The pacing is gonna seem a little jumpy because a lot of the manga is isolated skits.
Anyway, super hyped you’re reacting to this! One of my favorite chill romance manga, Rin and Eiji have amazing chemistry. They should be able to cover everything with one season.
One of the best, yet simple, romcoms I ever read (I read the entire thing multiple times.)
Went into it with no expectations and ended up laughing through whole episode. Hopefully it will keep it up throughout whole season

Definitely one of the shows I'm really looking forward to this season! I'm really happy that you liked the concept as well, it's a very fun idea in my opinion.

No joke, this might be my anime of the season, just from this one episode
A little info, each chapter of the manga has approximately 6 pages or so, and each one is self-contained, so you can imagine why everything goes so fast xD
Also, the manga is just 6 volumes or a little over 150 chapters, so we're definitely going to get the whole adaptation
It's already been 10 chapters in the first episode
I have also read that the creator originally put them up on twitter before finally getting them on a manga website

I always joke that Saori Hayami is lowkey a job stealer 😂 there was a time that 8 in 10 shows i was watching, i ended up hearing her voice. Dang, even in japanese games LOL she's just too good that the studios can't help it but to hire her. Ngl...her "cold version" in this one is almost exactly how she voices Yukino in Oregairu.
She's just awesome.

Tbh i was kinda...surprised you didn't know what "pseudo" means. NOT in an offensive way LOL i think it's not that common of a word, but in general it means "false". I think you heard some of these before: pseudoscience (which some consider psychology to be - a false science) or the most common is pseudonym (false name - what authors and artists in general use as a nickname or just a fake name to hide their true name).
