Great video! I remember these BTS840S2 High Side Switches :D They are excellently designed, and the best part is that this chip includes all the necessary protections (a better alternative to relays, fuses, thermistors, etc.). After using the mentioned high side switches, I also worked with BTS443P and BTS5505. It seems that Infineon produces the most high side switches of this type. Of course, ON Semiconductors also has them (also used in the automotive sector), but my main experience has been with their NCV8402 N-type transistor, which also includes all possible protections. Unfortunately, it lacks a current sense pin.
