Good afternoon everyone, I’d just like to thank you for watching and for the comments but I’m going to be slow at replying to this video as I’m on a multi day hike with very little phone signal. I’ve just stopped for a quick sandwich and to rest my aching limbs. 😉 Take care and stay safe 🍺👋
Bless your heart! I think I might have packed it in. Your persistence was rewarded with some beautiful shots though. Take care! Looking forward to your further adventures.
Admire your determination Darren - shame about the weather on Pike O'Blisco because in fine weather there are some great views from the top, particularly Crinkle crags and Bowfell. I imagine this week you probably have the exact opposite with the weather ! ☀️😎
How you battled on in them conditions Darren is a credit to you and for the love of getting out there I loved that place and when I'm able I'd like to go back as both times I've been there I've not been to well. But hopefully later this summer I'll be back to normal and able to explore again. Keep safe and don't stop what your doing. It keeps me going.
You certainly did deserve those fabulous images Darren. One thing is for sure, you will remember this visit to the lakes. As always, thanks for taking the time making these vlogs. Kind regards - Robin
Not my kind of weather to be out camping in. You did well to stay out and get some hiking in and some very nice mono pics. Enjoy your hike and hope the weather improves for you.
Great job Darren, I think I would have gone home, saying that I do miss the UK weather, never thought I would ever say that, brutally hot and humid here, thanks for sharing and stay safe.
Absolutely brutal conditions, a massive well done for sticking at it and sharing your adventure.👍 I'm sure I would have thrown all the toys out of the cot in weather like that.😂😂
Some great opportunities with that all wind n rain! What’s up with ya!? Embrace the mood😬 Bet you wish you had a bit of that rain today. Nice one Daz 👍👍
Yeah, a safe wild camper is an adaptable wild camper. At the forefront of my mind out by myself is that the hills don't care if you're alive or dead. Being able to retreat back to the car is a great safety anchor. Glad you stuck it out got a few shots and had a smile on your face by the end of the vlog.
Darren you are an inspiration. It would have been so easy to give up and go home. I think I would have. Looking like good weather now, better get back up there 😉. Take care.
Great video Darren bet you thought i wish i was still doing "astro photography today",you face at 2:45 summed up your day. Was you worried at any time that things might go pear shape. When are we having another Pubcast i'm feeling lonely

Those cyclists looked like they were really struggling , not surprised , i struggle getting up there in the car !

Looks like it was worth enduring the wind and rain for the light the next morning.
Fair play to you Darren. You've got to pick up James's torch now. 😁
Well done on not giving up. Tough conditions to work your way through. The bacon made up for it I'm sure ;o)
