This has to be a "Perfecto" episode from February 1989. I was in school back then, and I have not seen this episode. Amazing!

I was in kindegarden when this aired. Where Eleanor lived, this aired on WYOU Ch. 22 where Larry Sporono, Debbie Dunleavy, and John Nugent anchored News 22.

Rod Roddy, along with Johnny Olson, got a lot of camera time until 2002-2003 season with the exception of that year's premier when he was seen at the end of the show celebrating the premier and Rich Fields didn't get a lot of camera time until at least the 2009 season. Most of the other game shows almost never did that, although Johnny Gilbert was shown on camera on Jeopardy a few times. I generally like Rod Roddy but he slightly starting going downhill with his announcing in the mid 1990s as he was less enthusiastic in his later years and lo lover did skits during the Showcase like he did in his early days on he show as did Olson and Rich Fields was great just as Johnny Olson did. Although Gene Wood, Rich Jeffries, Bob Hilton, and Rod Roddy were tryout announcers after Olson died, Roddy was given the job although I thought Johnny Gilbert would have been a good tryout announcer as well even though he only did the Bill Cullen edition. IMO, had Rod Roddy would have been living at the time of the death of Charlie O Donnell he would have been a good interim announcer for Wheel of Fortune

Even though we had an Overbid at the end of the Showcase part.

At least it wasn't a *double* overbid. That would just hurt.

@ 28:02 - Rod Roddy made an on-camera appearance, when it was also one of the 1st episodes ever to have him, in the box, going downward.

This was one of the first episodes with the 10-12 format for Bullseye, but not THE first. That occurred 13 days earlier.

So on this 33rd perfect show to date here, was that Janice or a substitute model on the show along with Holly and Dian? (her absence could have been possible due to a injury suffered less than a year ago that restrained her from wearing swimsuits and bikinis.)

It was due to Janice's accident on the set! She would be back later that year, 1989! Kyle would've a good permanent addition if they kept her after Janice came back!
