Big Jones is by far my favorite restaurant in the city. Would eat there all the time when I lived in Andersonville. They have some of the best fried chicken and sweet potato hash that I have ever had.

My favorite southern food is Biscuits and Gravy. I made it all from scratch for the first time during the pandemic lockdown, too. So damn 🔥🔥🔥

Chow Chow is like Redneck/Southern Giardiniera. It’s good. I like it on top of some pinto beans and cornbread. That’s gotta be up there as my fave southern dish. Also “fried taters.”

Thanks for the shout-out. I highly recommend any fan of hot sauce subscribe and get the sixer hot sauce. Full of flavor and decent heat level for sure. Chicken and waffles have to top the list for southern favorite. Savory, salty and sweet all together makes a great meal. As always another great review you guys are the best.

Used to hit up a spot called Charlie's Alehouse with my wife and in general just enjoy the area (don't think it made it through the pandemic unfortunately). Also, you got a cool shout from another RUclipsr (Papi) the other day, so kudos on that as well.

I was about to shit on the price considering you could get 4 Popeyes, KFC, or Chic-Fil-A sandwiches for the same price, but that chicken sandwich looked huge and awesome so I guess they could justify the price although it's still pretty up there..
Local places like these just smack fast food places right in the mouth. Big Jones is the real deal.
@@numbersixwithcheese no doubt local mom and pop shops are higher quality when compared to most chains, but I'm not about to pretend like Popeyes chicken sandwich doesn't put a majority of local chicken sandwiches in the sharp shooter lol, at least in my neck of the woods..

Yeah $17 is definitely steep, but that thing could feed 2 people if cut in half, so really not bad at all for how much food you're getting
