The previous Vermis I. inspired songs of the last months have been a lot more melodic and classic dungeon synth. To do the overall atmosphere of the book justice I wanted to include one that has a darker and more ambient/horror style vibe.

First of all, thank you so much! That's a huge compliment 🖤⚔️. About my inspiration: I think the ICO and Dark Souls Soundtrack had a big influence on me. In general folk music from all over the world, classical music as well and contemporary artists like Steve Roach or Atrium Carceri for example definitely left a mark on me. As a teenager I was listening to loads of black metal 😅

What thick, dark atmosphere, just perfect!
Not only did you inspire me to grab Vermis 1 awhile back, I also did some dungeon synth for my last jam. The only actual DS I listen to really is you and another artist called Mountain Realm (good stuff I can also recommend!), so I'm blaming you 😁
